Anywayz, Next to all the IY and Ramna mangas I found a series called Maison Ikkoku. Let me tell you.. THIS SERIES IS GREAT if you like IY-style art. Without giving anything away, it's basically a 1986 Love Hina in a way... Read about it at http://animenfo.com/animetitle,3,wdzqwi ... kkoku.html. OK, it's different from LH but it's pretty similar. I really like it. I have some episodes I'll be watching this week. I also recently saw one called Narue no Sekai (Narue's World or The World of Narue). Read about that at: http://animenfo.com/animetitle,1184,gnf ... sekai.html.
I now have that book I mentioned! ^_^ It's great. Besides the animes I've listed above I'm rewatching the earlier episodes of Naruto with my brother. He had seen it with me later into the series and he didn't see how it started.

Heh, I never liked Maison Ikkoku, and will never really get into it. Why? Crappy side characters. Annoying pre-teen, female cousin of Godai, drunk bimbo, fat woman with fans, a guy always short on money...I couldn't stand them.

Anyway, my most current anime is Super GALS! (up to episode 22). Too bad ADV isn't going to be releasing the second season as far as I know..

Chobits! Finally managed to get hold of it. Stupid import costs. Grrrr.

Anyway, I loved the manga and was very pleased that the anime is good too, and Chii is just so adorable, as is Sumomo, and it has been frickin' ages since I watched an anime with a male lead. So basically, I love it. But it was very expensive and now I want more. Bah!

Also, volume one of Lain, which has only just been released here. See how behind we are :(

(And the Kaleido Star DVD that came with May's Newtype USA. You can tell I've been to Forbidden Planet and had an anime binge, can't you!)

Transformers: Super Link (Japan's version of "Energon") and Gundam SEED.

T:SL is pretty decent, but I can't stand the CG/vector animation used for the Transformers themselves. It just looks terrible, as the animation seems very discrete (i.e., the characters "jump" from one action to the other, as if they animators wanted to use as few frames as possible). Aside from this, though, the music is pretty catchy, and the story is very enjoyable.

Gundam SEED is very, VERY remeniscent of the original MSG, so if you didn't like that one, stay away from SEED. Having said that, however, SEED is very good in its own merits. The plot twists are pretty cool so far, and I'm really liking the animation for both the human characters and the Gundams and other Mobile Suits.

Chobits is really cute! I've only read the first manga volume, but it was really cute and funny in a kinky kinda way. I like that. I would watch the anime, but I agree, import costs are so big! :(

Well... the last series I finished was Sailor Moon Sailor Stars  But it was so great! I love the ending!
The final ending sequence was really nice, and the way they all said 'The End' and the, er end, was such a sweet touch.
Apart from that, I've just started watching Mermaid Melody Pichi Pichi Pitch. :D It's so so cute! I'm just totally addicted to cutesy anime, I'm so embarraced!

Azumanga. Repeatedly. :)

And RahXephon. Which I didn't buy; my non-anime loving friend got it free with a magazine subscription and ever so kindly let me have it. And so far, so another Eva rip-off. And the subtitles on episode 2 all lag two seconds behind the soundtrack. Is there anything more annoying?!

How are the import costs for Chobits big? Everytime I see it, it's $15-20. About the cost of a normal DVD. *sees it at Wal-mart, Best Buy, and the Base Exchange*

Mine was the second episode of the most recent Fushigi Yuugi OVA. Eien Densetsu I think. It's good so far and I like the new character art. Hehe this was about a month though if not more... I haven't sat down and watched an anime in awhile. Inu Yasha and whatever else that might be showing on CN while I'm doing other stuff doesn't count. Since I was never paying attention. heh

I have absolutely no idea why they charge so much for it. But they do. Damn their hides!

Well, the site I but my DVDs from (playusa.com) charges £22.99 for the first 4 volumes of Chobits, compared to £11.99 for some of the Sailor Moon ones.

The only reason I use PlayUsa is because they let you pay in pound sterling, so no conversion charge, and no shipping charge at all. All the other placed online charge so much for international shipping and if you live outside the US you have to send a scan of your credit card, which I refuse to do.

But luckily lots of nice titles are getting UK releases now so I'm happy, like Pretear and Fruits Basket. I want to see those too! Before all we got were really violent animes. :(
