jupiter: my VCR is too old to have a Universal Remote that will work for it. I mean, I can get the new remote to play, pause, etc, all the basic stuff, but I can't program it correctly. I have to hit the "go back" button to set the VCR's clock, and then I have to find some other random button to make it accept the time. It's pretty crazy. Don't worry, though, we're looking in to getting a new one. It also won't record and play back in color. It's pretty trippy sometimes: you ought to try watching a football game in black and white. Just remember: your team is the dark grey one.

offtopic::My family had a VCR like that once. I thought that was the damndest thing, too. And I never could figure out how it replayed things back in black and white when the program was supposed to be color. Then my mom got a new VCR, so I never worried about it after that. ::/offtopic

I watched WHR last night, although I'm not sure if I like it well enough to continue watching it. (Maybe I need to see it from the beginning of the series to know what the hell's going on.) But I do have a question: the witch in last night's episode, was she voiced by Petrea Buchard? She sounded exactly like Ryoko from Tenchi Muyo.

I couldn't honestly say, as I don't watch Tenchi. But as for WHR, it seems that [spoiler]Robin might be returning to the STNJ. [/spoiler]
I have not, of course, yet seen Tuesday night's episode, so I won't jump to any conclusions about that.

Just to say, WHR will start from episode one on April 1st, with the beggining of Trigun too ^_^ I beleive it is pushed a half hour ahead. Go to AdultSwim.com on the message board under announcements for the rest of the schedule.

Hopefully, I will have my new VCR player to record the episodes of WHR and Trigun, weeee!

I missed the past 2 episodes though

But tonight, I will watch it! My friend Colleen tells me about the episodes that I miss, during out lunch time ^_^

I love this show. I have the fansub episodes burned on cd from before it was licensed. Here is my rant with the dub.

The voice actors are horrible. They sound as though they are just reading scripts and have no real emotion. Hopefully if any of you buy it I would recommend watching the subtitled version.... Just my opinion tho'
