All the male leads from any Tanemura Arina work look like identical brothers seperated at birth. Chiaki, Takuto, etc. look very much the same, with slight differences in height and hair color.

I think that Haruka from BSSM land Yui from Fushigi Yuugi look incredibly alike along with Sonoko (episode 187 of BSSM, baseball captain/head of the three lights fan club) and Saionji from Utena.

Tsubame in Rurouni Kenshin (Ruroken) looks a lot like Hotaru, design, and personality. shy, and kind of akward.

I do think Ami's dangos from Hi Hi Puffy remind me a lot of Usagi and Chibiusa BSSM. Whether or not Hi Hi Puffy is anime is debatable IMO.

In Alice 19th, Lotis Master Mei Lin looks like an older Meilin from Card Captor Sakura. It's weird, like she grew up and decided to become a Lotis Master or something.

In the side story from Alice 19th,Bunny Heart, Rakuen looks like Usagi from BSSM. (the magical bunny girl Nyozeka comes and teaches her the Lotis for water to help with the drought hoping Rakuen is worthy of being the Neo Master) It's eerie how similar they look and the irony that her look-a-like would be in a story called Bunny Heart.

Well there is olney so many ways to draw anime charicters often times even if it isnt the main charicter you'll notice that melvin look alike or....Gack did I say melvin

er.....i mean that nerdy guy from sailor moon ( need to watch japanese first seson of SM over again to get names stuck in head) or that honda ( tristen) look alike on the street.

Go Nagai didn't happen to be the assistant to Tezuka Ozamu, did he? The guy who did Cyborg 009 was, and it wouldn't surprise me if he was too.

He was Ishimori Shoutarou's assistant (creator of Cyborg 009) so maybe he made Kisaragi Honey look like 003 as a homage? I'm not sure if he had any relation with Osamu Tezuka, but he does like his work.
