in the japenese, its actually pretty girly. but i guess it dosn't make a difference if akito was still a man in the anime... but yeah VERY girly.
I <3 Furuba, the manga moreso than the anime, but the anime is quite enjoyable too.

The dub really must die, though. STABBITY.

I think I'm one of the only people in the world that never got into Furuba... it just didn't click for me.

Part of it may have been the art, which turned me off a great deal, and I'm sure part of it was that I had trouble relating to the characters... I'm not 100% sure but I know that I don't like it.

Same here.

I found it cute and all, but...I jsut couldn't get into it. I saw the first DVD, and it didn't do much for me. I've heard the manga is better, though.

Joey: The question is, Rachel, does he like you? ''Cuz if he doesn''t, then it''s all just a moo point.
Rachel: Huh...a...moo point?
Joey: Yeah. It''''s like a cow''s opinion. It doesn''t matter....It''s moo.

I read the first 2 volumes of the manga and I can't say it produces anything thought producing (In panda terms I guess, it's all up to you whether or not you like it)

It just didn't seem to go anywhere.

yeah, its a little slow at first. you really have to read more, and then things intensify. it gets pretty dramatic in the later volumes.

2 volumes of nothing doesn't really amke me want to read 2 more volumes of nothing just to get to the 1 volume of something.

That sounded weird...

Who just read the latest volume? I thought it was really creepy when Yuki admitted to his classmate
That he wants Tohru as a Mom, and not as a girlfriend, like I thought, which gave me all sorts of disturbing thoughts.
Yes, I also didn't think much of the series. I thought the character design was really awful compared to the manga.

The manga is really intense and it just keeps getting more intense. They are going to be 22 or more volumes and in my country, we are currently at volume 18.
It's much better than the anime who hasn't given the characters nearly as much development as the manga. On top of that, the anime is too short AND they changed some very important scenes. In short, they removed the most dramatic scenes ^^°

I know xD I think volume 19 is out already - Furuba is SO addicting once you've got to know ALL the characters.

But seriously, the mangaka knows her stuff. She gives a personality even to the minor characters and she develops the personality of the main characters really well and to the last detail.

Well, that's all great though, but try trying to even think about getting into something with 45000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 fangirls screaming in your ear abouthow hot the cat boy is. (

Okay, then here's a switch:

Ayame Sohma is the hottest femmy boy in the series! He's so sexy, it's a shock he turns into a snake, but it's all good because I'm the year of the snake too, EEEEEEE!

This has been a test of the emergency fangirl freekout system. Had this been an actual freekout, you would have been presented with ways to evacuate and given pepper spray. Have a nice day.

I've always favored Shigure. I think ti's the whole "Year of the Dog" thing. *is a dog* But I have to say I enjoy Shigure most when he's with Aya and Hatori. *love*

(I've only seen the Anime, by the way)
And really, why shouldn't we be afraid? In case you haven't heard, life is terminal. Cigarettes will kill you. So will your cellphone. Your car is a deadly weapon and alcohol is a quiet killer. Don't lick the lead-based paint on the walls. Don't lick the back of a postage stamp and certainly don't lick any strangers! That will bring you down quickly indeed. Don't drink the water but don't drink less than eight glasses a day. Your enviroment is toxic, your natural resources are dwindling, your days are numbered, but what ever you do, don't panic! The stress, don't you know, will kill you.

Rin is my favorite character. But that's probably obvious seeing my user name. I like horses and I like her attitude.

What ever happened to Ritsu? Did he just drop off the face of the Earth?
