Why not? We already have a most favorite anime topic. Note that dubs of shows changed drastically in English (such as in the cases of Macross and Cardcaptor Sakura) can be put on here as well.

What about the Spirited Away dub? That, IMO, was incredibly well done. Without that dub to expose it to American audiences, SA wouldn't have been able to get that Oscar.

Most dubbed TV shows scare me. (Sailor Moon, Cardcaptors, ect.)

other than that any anime that is about mecha usually bores me after a while. (with the exception of Magic Knight Rayearth. that didn't totally center around it)

Yes...Rumiko's manga is awesome, but her anime is...blah. Like Ranma 1/2. I LOVE the manga..but the anime kinda sucks.

I particularly dislike all the Dragonball and Dragonball Z, etc, etc. I think it's the fighting that gets to me. I enjoy the couplings within the stories, Chi Chi and Goku, Vegeta and Bulma etc, but the actual anime....I think it's all the fighting and yelling that gets to me.

Definitely Final Fantasy Unlimited. It's just awful. No likeable characters. Bad CGI animation. Voices from Hell (in the Japanese version, I haven't [and won't] see it dubbed.)

Lupin the 3rd. I'm not fond of the art style, and I don't really like the characters.

I have quite a few that I dislike ... here are the worst ones:

- Divergence Eve: OK, I've seen series with women with large breasts. And then there's Divergence Eve. I somehow managed to get through the first episode. And now there's a sequel (well prequel, actually). It's no wonder that the people who provide the raws for download on BitTorrent have renamed the show "Divergence Boobs". (ANN has a great article in their Spring preview - link here.)

- FLCL: Talked about in the other thread ("Anime that you gave up on"). Really weird + really stupid = really bad.

But the #1 worst anime on my list goes to ... Raimuiro Senkitan (or Lime-iro Senkitan, or however you want to spell it). It actually has good OP and ED themes. Too bad there's that whole 20+ minutes in the middle. It is based on an H-game, and most recent series based on H-games have been at least OK (Kanon, Shingetsutan Tsukihime, Da Capo, Kimi Ga Nozomu Eien, etc.). But this one was absolutely awful. Period.

Oh yes, and how could I forget Ah, Megami-sama? (Or Oh My Goddess). Belldandy has to be THE MOST IRRITATING character I've seen in an anime. "Oh, Keiichi! Oh! Keiichi! You have no personality whatsoever, but I love you! Lala!" It's just so obnoxiously stupid that I couldn't get past the 3rd OAV episode. It didn't evoke any feeling out of me whatsoever, aside from annoyance. However, I must admit that the manga isn't all that bad.

As one who also hates that anime, and has also seen the English version of that anime, I can safely tell you that ADV found a way to make the show even worse by dubbing it into English. I like the OP/ED themes, and...that's about it. The show itself is an insult to all that is Final Fantasy (even moreso than that movie a while back). Maybe it wouldn't have sucked if those kids weren't in it (what is it with adding stupid, boring, annoying children in video game anime?!).
