Anime on TV that needs to be subbed (besides YGO, etc.)
Here's a list of the anime on TV that finally got the subbed releases:
Sailor Moon (Seasons 1 and 2)
Macross
Mospeada
Southern Cross
Samurai Troopers
But there are those who never got the subbed releases, so, besides Yu-Gi-Oh, Shaman King, and the first half of DBZ, what do you think should get their subbed releases?
My vote would go to Pokemon, Sonic X, Samurai Pizza Cats, and Voltron.

But they need to be inspired, and let's face it, 'Superman'...the last time you really inspired anyone... was when you were dead." -- Batman, to Superman, Infinite Crisis, issue 1

Pokemon will never get a sub release due to the fact that Nintendo doesn't want people to see the uncut version.DuoTheShinigami02 wrote:Here's a list of the anime on TV that finally got the subbed releases:

Don't you wish Gundams were real?

I doubt whether Nintendo really cares either way...The Wanderer wrote:Pokemon will never get a sub release due to the fact that Nintendo doesn't want people to see the uncut version.
Not to mention that Pokemon's editing has never been on the level as that of the notorious bad dubs out there.

~Pokemon, even with all of those fansubs hanging around
~Digimon; there was only one place I found that had nothing but the first 4 episodes of Frontier!
~Astro Boy, even though it isn't exactly my favorite anime
~Mon Colle Knights; see above choice for comments
~Kaze no Tani no Nausicaa; never saw it before, but I've heard many bad things about the dubbed version of it. In addition to a good sub, it needs a good redub.

Now, Pokemon is now suffering the same fate as Yu-Gi-Oh, with the new music and all.Dinozore wrote:I doubt whether Nintendo really cares either way...The Wanderer wrote:Pokemon will never get a sub release due to the fact that Nintendo doesn't want people to see the uncut version.

Nintendo has nothing to do with the anime, other than sponsoring the show and providing the character designs. The Wanderer wrote:Pokemon will never get a sub release due to the fact that Nintendo doesn't want people to see the uncut version.DuoTheShinigami02 wrote:Here's a list of the anime on TV that finally got the subbed releases:

I was wondering where that page went...DuoTheShinigami02 wrote:Now, Pokemon is now suffering the same fate as Yu-Gi-Oh, with the new music and all.
But I don't think Pokemon is anywhere near the level of Yu-gi-oh in terms of editing (The first movie dub turned out badly, I'll admit...)

Tokyo Mew Mew should, because then:
1) I can't see the dub anyway because I don't get the right channel,
and
2) I would like to see the original (seeing both would be great, but...

I for get to mention that this is now happening to the latter Johto episodes, as well as Advanced Generation.
