something tells me this will end up like Cardcaptors. Nelvana takes a shoujo anime, try appealing to the boys more, and bam, all hell broke loose, and I'm certain 4kids, who've already been doing as near a bad job, will do the same. When will these sexist dubbing companies just simply realize: certain shows are mainly liked by boys but few girls, so girls, likewise, should get shows mainly appealing to them and few boys watch them (I'm male BTW, but I'm a fan of some shoujo anime, as evidenced by me being on a Sailor Moon message board, and I'm so against sexist dubbing after seeing the way Cardcaptor Sakura turned out).

America is getting worse.
We are already sexist, against homosexuality, and now we are going to war and pissing off people of other countries every day... I'll stop before I start ranting.

Exactly why I love Canada, we have alot less of those things =D (not trying to bash America)

about me, I'm open to critisim, why? because unlike most americans, I for one realise that america is NOT the ultimate country.

I guess Majorika's fairy (Lala... I think. Can't remember off hand) could be deemed sexy in an emergency (or after a few pints

). Of course, he uses the plural, and as the main characters are, like what? 10? 12? It's just...-
(Off hand, I think, for the most part, the character designs are fairly ugly too. They work very well in the show, but compared to most they're too cartoony to be good looking, IMO)

It's so sad! All I've ever wanted was for Ojamajo Doremi to be licenced, and it ends up that 4Kids picks it up.

Anyway, I've started a campaign with the goal of convincing 4Kids to allow a subtitled version to be released. The link is in my sig. Would anyone like to participate?

Noooo, no, no, not Ojamajo Doremi! This can't be happening..knowing 4kids they'll refuse to release a subtitled version, since they have yet to with Pokemon, Yugioh, and their other "victim animes"..They'll probably give Doremi some annoying, high-pitched, valley girl yodel squeal or something, and I just won't let that happen..I wanted to see how a dubbed version would turn out, but with 4kids doing it? I don't want to think of how it'll turn out..Since dubbing companies are so sexist lately..*cough cough Nelvana cough spaz*, they probably'll only dub a few episodes, then think "Aw, screw it, anime's the guy thing, boys want to see card dueling games, not cute little magical girls!" and leave the poor confused dubbies hanging off on a cliffhanger..Okay, maybe I'm not making sense, but this is just too shocking for words..

yeah, until they completly take out the things explaining Satoshi's and Kasumi's relationship, removing an episode for a gun that is never fired, giving annoying voices, making characters come from brocklynn, AND forcing a character that is gay NOT to be for the first season. *hint* Kojiro *hint*
