Voltron: Defender of the Universe
THe good ol' fashioned robot show of 1984 is making a comeback this September, with a new show!
Anyone else here hear of it?

If you love something, set it free....If it comes back, set it on fire....But if it never comes back....HUNT IT DOWN AND KILL IT!!!!!
-_- why must they re-make an old classic?
My brothers and I used to watch Voltron all the time. Granted, I don't remember much about it, but I remember liking it, and having a lot of toys from it (mostly from Japan, becuase we still lived there.)

Joey: The question is, Rachel, does he like you? ''Cuz if he doesn''t, then it''s all just a moo point.
Rachel: Huh...a...moo point?
Joey: Yeah. It''''s like a cow''s opinion. It doesn''t matter....It''s moo.

Will it be like the 3D Redux (Voltron: the Third Dimension) they did back in 1998?
Also, is Voltron (the original) out on DVD?

"After all these years, you know it's not about control. It's about trying to do everything I can. And for you, it's about setting an example. Everyone looks up to you. They listen to you. If you tell them to fight, they'll fight. But they need to be inspired, and let's face it, 'Superman'...the last time you really inspired anyone... was when you were dead." -- Batman, to Superman, Infinite Crisis, issue 1

I used to watch the original Voltron when it was aired on CN. Ah, those were the good 'ol days of CN when they wouldn't change their schedules on a whim, and back before they aired Dragonball Z. I also saw that 3-d show of Voltron and it was pathetic. I miss the original Voltron and wish they would bring back that instead.

Where'd you see this from? It sounds interesting, and I'd like to read more about it. I loved Voltron when I was little!

I never saw Voltron until we got Cartoon Network, which was back when Toonami was still hosted by Moltar (^_^;; long time ago, huh?)
I did have at least one of the robot lions, though. I don't remember where I got it, though (could have come from a yard sale).

That reminds me! Back when I was a kid, I owned one the yellow robot lion, but back then, I didn't even know where it came from or what Voltron was. I'm sure it came from a yardsale as well because if I bought it from the store, I probably would've remembered at least something as to where it came from. I was looking at it awhile back (before I knew it was from Voltron), trying to figure out where it came from, until I realized that it was the yellow robot lion! I was exicited that I own one of them, even though when I bought it, I had no clue what it was. ^^;;Dinozore wrote:

Not necessarily. I like BOTH Voltrons.

I'm writing this Sailor Moon/Green Lantern crossover AU fic called "Emerald Sunrise". It's a hybrid of Action/Adventure, Sci-Fi, Romance, and Comedy. It's about Ami (Sailor Mercury) getting a new boyfriend who just happens to be a member of The Green Lantern Corps. I'm also throwing in some other characters from other animes and some old Hanna-Barbera cartoons from the late '60's early '70's. I'm also illustrating it as well.
Wish me luck. I'm gonna need it.

I'll definately be watching this. I love the original, but I have a fear that this might turn out to be like Transformers Armada, which was/is terrible. I still like the original Transformers, though.
Does anyone know is Go-Lion has been subtitled or if some english version is available?

Stop squirming, you're making the procedure more difficult.
