No, as much as I dislike the pairing, I do admit that it's canon, even though it was only unrequited love on Seiya's part. Something that's not canon would be like the "Ami and Taiki" pairing--there's only hints to that one, while Seiya specifically says that she/he LOVES Usagi, right to Usagi's face.

And I forgot to mention my absolute favorite pairing in Sailor Moon, Naru and Umino! AWWWW!!!
