Blue Seed

*singing* "Mysterious Tokyo.... Take it easy dangerous night... Mysterious Tokyo... Pick me up Foxy Night Game..." Oh, excuse me, just being crazy... I love this anime now. I especially like Kusanagi Mamoru. He's kawaii! Anyone else interested?

I have the BS boxset [domestic] and i am with you. Kousengai is the stuff. :D The DvD extras come with "Omake Theatre" and I laughed my ass off at some of the extra "Skits". the "Watcher of the Kushinada[sp]" is so funny, yet so wrong.

I personally like the dub, minus Momiji's voice. *twitch* She tried to imitate Meguami Hayashibara's voice and it came out to be very irritating on the hight notes.

I so want to see Blue Seed Beyond. It's also known as Blue Seed 2, which I have only one subtitle episode. ;_; Kousenagi looks hotter 10 fold. With those tight blue-jeans and that shirt .... o_o
*ahem*
And really, why shouldn't we be afraid? In case you haven't heard, life is terminal. Cigarettes will kill you. So will your cellphone. Your car is a deadly weapon and alcohol is a quiet killer. Don't lick the lead-based paint on the walls. Don't lick the back of a postage stamp and certainly don't lick any strangers! That will bring you down quickly indeed. Don't drink the water but don't drink less than eight glasses a day. Your enviroment is toxic, your natural resources are dwindling, your days are numbered, but what ever you do, don't panic! The stress, don't you know, will kill you.

I liked Momiji's screams in the first two episodes (they chilled me to death) , but her normal voice is just kind of sappy at all times. There's also that Koume person. I notice that, in most anime, I always like the trigger-happy ones. MUST... SEE...MORE... *schemes to borrow BS boxset from friend Eleanor*

I have a problem with Momiji's dub voice, too. Mainly because it sounds too much like Cloverway Serena *shrug* The rest of the dub's actors, thankfully, do a much better job.

As for the anime itself..well, I've only seen the first 10 episodes off Anime Network (which means no omake for me *sniff*), but I keep hearingth at the show picks up, and it hasn't. From what I've seen so far, though, it's OK. Nothing groundbreaking or anything, but OK.
