Indeed. We'll just leave it at this: Sailor Moon, try harder. Even in your defense of your family "looking like" Usagi's, you repeat yourself 3 different times. I know you're trying to stop, but please, try harder. Everyone else, get back on topic before I mug Tiff of her OT stick and start waving it around like a madman :P

I think I'm most like Usagi from Sailormoon. I'm very, very clumsy, and I'm very sensitive as well. I spend most of my time reading manga or watching anime. However, I study hard, and my handwriting is usually neat. And I don't usually forget Kanji for Japanese class. Though I should review how to write Kyoto in Kanji o_O

Is it OK if I go back on topic? :oops: I'm really sorry if this is a mistake.

Has anyone read/seen Tokyo Mew Mew? Well, I think I most resemble Midorikawa Retasu in personality. We're both really shy, would like more confidence and say sorry too much (but I think that's more an English thing ;)) I don't look much like Retasu apart from I wear glasses, I don't think there's an anime character I look much like. :)

I'm most like my favorite anime/manga character Count D from Petshop of Horrors. We both:

-Can go from being reserved, calm, dignified people, to squealing, little pansies.
-Like men XD
-Love tea and incense (I drink tea and burn incense almost religiously)
-Are addicted to sugar and <3 it to death (I've eaten so much sugar I've actually grown a bit of an immunity to it).
-Are very deep thinkers
-Love wearing fancy, androgynous clothes
-Believe that people should get what they deserve and face the consequences of their actions
-Have no problem cheating and doing almost anything to get what we want
-Go absolutely apocalyptic when we break a finger nail
-Know jack all about electronics and technology

Well, it'd be impossible to narrow it down to just one person.

Mostly, I relate to Setsuna Meioh/Pluto from Sailor Moon, because of how solitary she is. There's also a little of Kyo from Fruits Basket mixed in, because I'm an outcast. And Taiki, from Sailor Moon, because I'm a pessimist. XD Such pleasant traits...

Childhood: Pudding from Tokyo Mew Mew (overactive)

Teenage: Hotaru Tomoe (alone, bullied, hated P.E.) and Akane Tendo from Ranma (tomboy, detested boys)

Nowadays: The weirdest combination between Akane (tomboy, still detest boys but not at much as in the past) and Tomoko from ep.134 of Sailor Moon (Likes to write, but scared of showing it)

Well... there are a couple of characters I really see bits of myself in, but in general I've never found any one character that is really like me. I'm pretty odd (or maybe the nicer term is .. unique :P)

Sylphiel Nels Laada of The Slayers, for the following reasons

-Some of our personality - deeply caring, thoughtful, honest, emotional, often serious, determined, not afraid to stick up for beliefs, shy around new people, but have a silly side as well
-She specializes in white magic, and I've always wanted the power to heal... and usually play a cleric or paladin in any kind of RPG
-She goes through a lot of loss in the series, which I have been through
-We both are really close to our fathers, and consider him pretty much our only family
-I tend to get clingy and fangirl/almost hero worship whoever I love at the time, just as she does constantly with "Gourry-sama!" ^^;
-She's a really underappreciated (IMO) and almost universally disliked character among the fandom. Honestly I don't know why, but she gets probably the most bashing of Slayers characters, and I myself am pretty heavily disliked in real life.

Lady Une from Gundam Wing. For many of the same reasons as Sylph, but she has a lot of my more tougher, kick arse and take names side. And my lack of tact. ^_^;

BSSM-wise... I would say I relate to a combination of Rei and Minako's traits the most.

The other character that comes to mind at the moment that I see a lot of myself in is actually Rinoa from FF8 ... but this is the anime section, not the video game. :D
Kait (ka-t) n. - see also Sylph.

There is already a topic similar to this. "Which anime character do you most relate to". Topic merged.
And really, why shouldn't we be afraid? In case you haven't heard, life is terminal. Cigarettes will kill you. So will your cellphone. Your car is a deadly weapon and alcohol is a quiet killer. Don't lick the lead-based paint on the walls. Don't lick the back of a postage stamp and certainly don't lick any strangers! That will bring you down quickly indeed. Don't drink the water but don't drink less than eight glasses a day. Your enviroment is toxic, your natural resources are dwindling, your days are numbered, but what ever you do, don't panic! The stress, don't you know, will kill you.

I'm a guy but I would have to say that after an intensive 36 second introspective thinking session I most relate to (Hino) Rei -manga more than anime Rei. Rei has to balance the traditional and modern world and does a magnificent job. There is a sense that she makes the two coexist which is a benefit to her and her friends. I'm no Finnish shrine maiden, if you get my drift, but I am constantly aware of where I come from (Finland, if you didn't get it) and don't necessarily see the traditions and customs, the halacha if you will, of my predecessors as contradictory to the ideals and advancements of the modern world. On the contrary I think they are strengthened by every step forward we make, on the whole. Rei seems to have roots, unlike the other girls, and that tradition gives her power beyond her senshi abilities. Anyway, I dig the whole 'shabang' shes got going on.

And hey, you've got to know where you've been to know where your going.

Very easy: Usagi. I'm stupid, clueless, love food, love to eat, too lazy to ever do homework, never study, always late for class, love to sleep, love reading manga, love playing video games, I'm a huge crybaby, and am clumsy...the list continues. O_O;

Ke-ke-ke...

As if you all couldn't guess. :p

Musashi-Musashi-Musashi.
Not at all in appearance though. Mostly in personality. -nods- I used to hit people with paper fans untill my sister broke mine, I'm insecure, yet incurably vain. I don't have a lot of self-confidence, but I gloat. That makes no sense, does it now? -blinks-

I have a nasty temper and I think I might be a little obsessed with revenge. ^^;; I have the oddest ways of showing affection, most other kids in my school think I'm a nut and laugh at me, but I however, don't really care. Stupid kids.

... I want a dream harem of scantily-clad bishounen toooo! ... -coughs- ... What? ^^;;

I also have no mom! However, I'm happy about that. YAY, NO MOM. Hate hate hate, SO much HATE.

I'm afraid of rollercoasters. ^^;; I wanted to be a nurse when I was younger, or a vet. Now I have no idea what I want to be that's actually gonna happen.

Rainbow wrote:I think maybe Yaten on Sailor Moon, though I'm not quite sure. I do keep noticing similarities between us. I think I may have talked about my similarity to Yaten before, too.

And as for which ones I look like, maybe Hikaru from Kimagure Orange Road. Her hair looks a LOT like mine, though I have brown eyes and glasses.

(actually, that's her in my avatar, I edited the picture to give her glasses so she'd REALLY look like me)
After I thought about it more carefully, I think I act more like Taiki than Yaten, although I'm not quite as polite as Taiki, my interests are more similar to his/hers and I think I have the same Myers-Briggs type (INTJ). I definitely tend to take Taiki's side when I'm watching SailorStars, too! I'm probably sillier and more fond of humor than Taiki, but considering Taiki thought Usagi was funny (episode 179), who knows?
