Ooh, you want to be punished, Tiff? (puts on Star Maker fuku and stands over Tiff with a whip) Ha, just kidding, punishing you would get me banned from the forum, since you're a moderator...

But I was wondering, is their a Caterpillar girl or something in MCIW? he he he ^_^ no matter what version of Alice in Wonderland I'm reading, the caterpillar is always stoned out of his mind, it's quite hilarious actually.
Unfortunately, no. That would have been quite hilarious, though.

I just got the DVD and watched! I think it's interesting and funny. It kind of shows a culture clash between all the lesbians vs. Miyuki, who is more of a conservative, heterosexual girl who is more than a little shocked at all the lesbians who want to engage her in romantic activity. I found it to be rather bizarre, which is good in my book...

I just read through the manga, and it is cute. A little fast paced. I like how in Wonderland and Mirrorland on the DVD were longer and more detailed. But I liked the multiple stories ^_^

No, not all lesbians, but the Wonderland/Mirrorland place(s) has a very different culture than the Japan Miyuki comes from. From a sociological perspective (I probably want to be a sociologist who studies different ethnic groups and the stereotypes associated with them), the anime is interesting because Wonderland has very different values than Miyuki's world, and Miyuki experiences what is called "culture shock," in her culture, for example, taking your clothes off and hugging people of the same sex are thought to be "bad" but in Wonderland, they are the norms.

And yes I did mean to sound scholarly there...

Saw it last year at Anime Expo for $10, on DVD no less. Since I got it at AX there was no tax :) . Then, some weeks later, I bought a PS2. So I could watch it. Ah, so THAT'S who those girls where dressed as.

This is one of the funniest anime I own! I found Mirrorland to be just as funny as Wonderland. Too bad there was no caterpillar in it. I love the Manga pics during the credits. Know where I can get the manga?

*Reads Pita-Ten thread*

Oh, I'll check at B&N then. Thanks for pointing that out. I didn't even know they sold manga. It is so hard to find manga.
