Weiss Kreuz

Post by KoiNoVash » Sun Nov 30, 2003 1:00 am

I'm surprised no one has talked about Weiß (Weiss) Kreuz yet. I love this anime, Aya, Yohji, and Schuldich have to be my favorite characters. Most people I have met that have watched it either liked it or hated it.

LOL I"m one of the first in-betweeners, then. I thought a lot of the things about it were cool, especially the characters and their development, but there were several things I didn't like. It started to drone on and on, and by the time it got to the middle-to-end of the series, i was ready to quit watching it. I think it lasted far too long, and could have been much more awesome if it were cut short.
But I love the music from it, and as far as chars go , I like Schuldich, Yohji and Omi the best. Aya's pretty damn badass when he fights, but he broods too damn much for me.
There's a LOT of angst in this show, which is always a plus with me XD;;, but like I said..it just went for too damn long.
And don't even get me started on that Weiss Gluhen crap. I can't even get past the character designs to even watch the damn thing.

Joey: The question is, Rachel, does he like you? ''Cuz if he doesn''t, then it''s all just a moo point.
Rachel: Huh...a...moo point?
Joey: Yeah. It''''s like a cow''s opinion. It doesn''t matter....It''s moo.

wiess kreuz was allright. As Tiff, pointed out, their was too much angst. Angst and sadness is alright for character development, but too much scores bad with me, so I never really saw more then disc one. It's really an anime my mother prefered, that's why we have DvDs 1-3. :/
I just couldn't get into it. .. Well, Yohji is the man. I like him
And really, why shouldn't we be afraid? In case you haven't heard, life is terminal. Cigarettes will kill you. So will your cellphone. Your car is a deadly weapon and alcohol is a quiet killer. Don't lick the lead-based paint on the walls. Don't lick the back of a postage stamp and certainly don't lick any strangers! That will bring you down quickly indeed. Don't drink the water but don't drink less than eight glasses a day. Your enviroment is toxic, your natural resources are dwindling, your days are numbered, but what ever you do, don't panic! The stress, don't you know, will kill you.

I haven't seen this, but I'm very interested to. Maybe when I have more time to watch it, I'll get the DVD set. It does sound like something I'd like quite a lot.

For one thing, it has hot bishounen. Especially Yoji. He's even hotter in Gluhen *drool*

::cries:: I hate Gluhen! All the bishonen are ugly (Yohji's lovely locks are gone! And what is that thing on his chest??!! And don't get me started on the rest of the boys) and the plot is like watery hot coffee with no cream or sugar, odd to look at, nasty to take in, and when you try to get it down quickly you end up scalding your mouth.

The Seventh Doctor: Ace, give me some of that Nitro-9 you''''re not carrying.

The Seventh Doctor: [the Doctor is knelt coughing on the ground having blown up a Dalek with some nitro-9 explosive. The fuse had a shorter time on it than Ace told him] Ace! You said ten seconds.
