Its shounen so you don't have to worry about it though there is this female character named Kagome who is primary but is double-billed with the main leading male Inuyasha but I don't let that bother me. Another one is Ranma ½ in which is another shounen but it lies within the genre of Romantic Comedy which is good, a true classic.
