Anyone watch Avatar: The Last Airbender?

I know a lot of people say it's not Anime because it's not made in Japan, but I say it's just as good as any Anime made in Japan. Plus it's a lot better then a lot of shows that try to be Anime.

Anyways it's a really cool show that's set in a world based on Asian and Inuit culture where some people are gifted with the power to "Bend" the elements. Each bender can only bend an element in their country, for instance the Fire Nation bends fire, the Earth Kingdom bends earth, the Water Tribes bend water, and the Air Nomades bend air. Only the "Avatar" has the ability to bend all 4 elements because he or she is the reincarnation of the spirit of the planet.

The plot revloves around a 100 year old war between the Fire Nation and the other 3 nations. The Avatar who's duty is to restore peace to the world had dissappeared before the war started and the Fire Nation conqured most of the world. Now in the present two young teenagers from the Southern Water Tribe: an inexperinced Water Bender named Katara and her warrior brother Sokka discover an young Air Nomade frozens in a ball of ice. They free him and later find out that he was the Avatar who dissappeared 100 years ago. They then accompany him on his quest to learn all 4 elements so that he can defeat the Fire Lord. Often times they are trying to avoide the Fire Nation soldiers along with the banished Prince Zuko and his sadistic sister Princess Azula and other villains.

I think it's a really good and beautiful show, so I was wondering if anyone else likes it as much as I do?

They've started talking about it here and here. Please be sure to read here, especially here, to prevent this and potential other rule breaking in the future. Thanx. Thread locked.
