I thought it was a very thought provoking story as well, I loved the whole "words have power" theme as well, because I really do think that words have more power than even actions at time. Some one says something hurtful and it can stay with you for a lot longer and fester inside you than a physical wound can. That's why I found the situation with Mayura to be so profound and intense. Even though I didn't like her at times the real reason she was acting the way that she was was because of the unkind things Alice said. What Alice said was so small and seemingly harmless because I'm sure that it's something any one would say when they are upset to some one, but it can be very hurtful if you think about the meaning behind it
This manga needs to be made into an anime, it's a shame that it hasn't already
Is it just me or did Mei Lin look like an older Meilin from Card Captor Sakura? She was even from Hong Kong just like Meilin. Very suspicious..... j/k
I thought so too, but then Alice herself looked like an older version of Sakura, except Alice has blue eyes instead of green like Sakura. Am I the only one disappointed that the story didn't get more into Meilin's back ground as well as that American Lotus Master? I felt like those two where sort of just thrown in there just to make up the numbers.
Frey was the best! I'd go for him. He's much more fun to be around. I'm just sad he didn't get anyone
I absolutely adored Frey I thought he was a big sweet heart; and funny! I loved the way he was portrayed, he was written with many layers and wasn't just the amiable goof ball. He had his serious side and a complex past and complicated relationships with people he has been close too

, and I do feel a bit sorry that he didn't end up with Alice. But I like the that Alice ended up with Kyo, because I did like Kyo. I just don't think Frey was the right guy for Alice, Kyo is perfect. I kinda wished that he had ended up with Mayura for some reason, instead of leaving him alone. Jeez, Yuu Watase seems to like leaving the good natured guy out in the cold. I'm currently reading
Ayashi no Ceres and seems like the character
Yuhi, who is good natured and likable, isn't going to get the girl eighther. Does Yuu Watase do this alot in her stories?
