The warriors book series has a spin off manga series out now and its pretty good.
It does tie into the story in the main books so in order to avoid spoilers (unless you dont mind them) Id suggest not reading it until you read the book series. You'd just need to read the first 6 books and the first 3 of the second series.
Its a great story and easy to get through too. And I personally think its easily as good as stuff like Harry Potter.
Anyway the manga is a side story to the series that begins in the third book of the second warriors series (called Warriors the new prophecy)
