GTO (Grand Teacher Onizuka) on Showtime Next.

Post by Sailor X » Tue Nov 25, 2003 12:58 am

Every day at 8:00 pm. I've never seen it, but I've heard it's the same perverted thing every episode- he has sex with his students. Enlighten me.
That avatar is a self portrait. Really. Really. No matter how much it looks like D'Angelo, that's me. .... Oh, just shut up.

What is the channel number? I can't find Showtime Next for some reason. And I don't get how I don't have it. My mom gets all the channels since she works for Comcast.

O__o;;

The synopsis I read on the anime is that he's an Ex-Biker turned Teacher, after relizing that he wanted to do more with his life. Perhaps I read something different.
And really, why shouldn't we be afraid? In case you haven't heard, life is terminal. Cigarettes will kill you. So will your cellphone. Your car is a deadly weapon and alcohol is a quiet killer. Don't lick the lead-based paint on the walls. Don't lick the back of a postage stamp and certainly don't lick any strangers! That will bring you down quickly indeed. Don't drink the water but don't drink less than eight glasses a day. Your enviroment is toxic, your natural resources are dwindling, your days are numbered, but what ever you do, don't panic! The stress, don't you know, will kill you.

Uh, NO. He doesn't. This isn't hentai. Sure, Onizuka is a perv whose motivation to become a teacher is to be surrounded by cute young girls, but he doesn't have sex with them.

I looked it up on ULN. As Anthy said, it isn't a hentai. Their is a girl trying to seduce him,and something to do with a black-mailer, but as far as it goes, I don't think their is any Teacher/Student affiars.

Which is good, because I heard alot of good things about that anime from friends. For a moment , I was questioning WHY people liked it so much. heh heh.

I've heard that it's really good, but I've never got to see it myself. Now's my chance :run's into living room and searches for the Chanel:

o_O no offense, but you could have just thought for yourself and taken a look at it anyway to make your own judgement.

Joey: The question is, Rachel, does he like you? ''Cuz if he doesn''t, then it''s all just a moo point.
Rachel: Huh...a...moo point?
Joey: Yeah. It''''s like a cow''s opinion. It doesn''t matter....It''s moo.

SNAUSAGES!

Now that that's out of my system, I really couldn't have because if the damn thing had been a hentai, and I was watching it, imagine what my parents would have done to me.

Showtime Demand you do have to pay for, it costs $3.95 extra a month. I don't know if they have Dirty Pair or GTO on it though.

:( Still, it's not worth it for only one show. I hope it will be available on the ANime Network.

I finally got to see it, it was pretty good. A little disgusting and perverted, but lots of good twists and turns in plot and stuff.
Showtime NEXT isn't an OnDemand chanel, it's just one of the like 10 showtime branches, sorta like HBO Family is to HBO. But I think that you might have to pay extra to get it. Sorta like you can buy just Showtime or you can buy Showtime AND all of the other stuff that comes with it.
