Just discovered the magazine 'Newtype USA'

Post by Bluemax-ct » Tue Dec 19, 2006 10:38 pm

For anything anime, mangna, games, conventions this magazine is a great source of information. Each edition comes with a DVD with three full anime episodes plus trailers. Just picked up the Dec. 2006 edition. Because of a good review I picked up the first edition of the 'My-HiME' mangna book. Great!
Check it out.
Sometimes I sit and think, other times I just sit.

*Nods* I used to buy Newtype back when we had a SamGoody in town. It's pretty nifty.

Joey: The question is, Rachel, does he like you? ''Cuz if he doesn''t, then it''s all just a moo point.
Rachel: Huh...a...moo point?
Joey: Yeah. It''''s like a cow''s opinion. It doesn''t matter....It''s moo.

I've been a faithful buyer of this magazine since January 2004. (In fact, the only issue I don't have is the September 2005 issue, which I'm pretty sure was lost in the mail thanks to the Hell-storm after Hurricane Katrina.)

I used to subscribe, but dumped it since I felt it was too costly for what I got. Also I though it concentrated too much on the usual suspects (Gundam, Eva, FMA) and the info was dated by the time I got it.

I still get Megami Magazine, even though I can't read about 95% of it on average. But it's many times more relevant to my interests. I'll post a few scans/pics of why if anyone is interested.
