Manga/Anime to avoid

As for Yu-gi-oh!, This is the only good version.

As for Escaflowne... I'm used to seeing pander to fangirls... (Gundam Wing anyone?) The thing that irritated me about it was the constant Deus Ex Machina. Most of the characters should have died 7-8 times over, if it wasn't for something showing up at last minute to save everyone's lives. Plus, I hated what they did with Dilandu at the end. That was just... no. It was nice to see an ending that was NOT a 'cliche happy life' one.

THe Gundam series in general... I prefer the earlier ones, or at least the ones that pertain to the 'One-year war' era. MS Gundam 0079, and Zeta Gundam are my favorites of the series. Zeta because it's really dark, adn the plot is developed... and MS0079 because it's the original... and it spawned many different series that wouldn't exist today if it wasn't for the release... plus Mamoru = Amuro.

As for others to AVOID... I don't really know of any. I hear that Bleach is overhyped, and I know someone who only watches the fights, nothing else. As for others... *shrugs*

Ranma 1/2: No plots and they tend to focus on female nudity a bit too much.

Voltron: The characters are just plain annoying and will grate on your nerve after a few minutes.

One Piece: It's dreadfully boring and it seems to drag on and on and on.

That's all the animes I know to avoid.I haven't been able to watch enough of other animes(like Full Metal Alchemist or BoBo-bobobo) to comment on them.
