I don't know if anyone remembers this or is a religious believer, but out of nowhere, I stumbled into a HUGE blast from the past. I'm surprised that this was released before I was born. Here's a few links.

I'm like--Wow! A lot of things that I didn't even realize when I saw this way back in between the 80s and 90s. The biggest surprise was that THIS was actually my first Japanese anime viewing, not Sailor Moon. Actually, the truth is that not many people realize that this was Japanese anime since in the 1980s, Japanese anime wasn't as big in U.S.A. or in other countries as it is now.

Wow! Sailor Moon was probably the first one that I actually was old enough to enjoy ("Understand" is a more exact term.). I think that my parents had a whole bunch of tapes from that anime (Probably the complete story (excluding Superbook II).). Now, all that's left is the Christmas episode. That's enough from me, for now. Does this bring back any memories for anyone else?

It reminds me of Flint with Time Detective... but with Jesus. I might've seen this when I was little. I watched alot of older anime series without knowing. (The Little Mermaid, Maya the Bee, Serendipity..)
Funny you should bring this up though, since about a week ago an old Religious anime aired on EWTN.

I find it funny that this thread has been updated after two months. Oh, well. It's still nice to see someone else speak up.

I vaguely remember watching this at Sunday school in church when I was a kid but my memories of it are so vague I don't really remember much about the show itself other than that I did watch it once when I was little and another religious anime called The Flying House. I wonder how many people at church knew it was an anime....
"If we can''t comprehend the plan at hand, how could a higher plan make any more sense? I'd say you can only be a martyr if you know what you are dying for, and choose it"-Elphaba
"Those who made mistakes blame themselves and close their hearts. It's impossible to fix a mistake. Man can't return to the past. That's why we drink. Drunks, lushes, sliding alcohol down their throats to dilute the memories that can't be denied.-Vash The Stampede"

I didn't. I'm surprised. Who could blame you? It's a show that played in the 80s. By the way, It's also good to be speaking after a couple of months (I think).
