4Kids! and their anime

I never said that Ranma couldn't be understood by kids (12 and under). I just meant that the audience is more geared towards teens. I just don't think that most kids would be all that interested in the story.

And kids could enjoy Slayers, I just get the impression that it's geared more towards teens. Kids could enjoy the Simpsons, and Friends, but that doesn't mean that the show is aimed towards them.

Hmmm. That makes more sense. So in the end I'm going to go ahead and agree that anime can be aimed towards teens. I don't think that many anime (aisde for, like I said, porn and maybe some more dramatic stuff) aretargeted for an adult audience.

It depends, I guess, an anime that was ment to be for kids in Japan, could be a Teen's anime over here and US etc, Because of different cultures, acceptence, etc.

As for 4kids, i like Tokyo Mew Mew a lot!!!! But the English version sucks even more than the English version of Sailor Moon, it just makes NO sense sometimes and the music is CRAP......
