Ouran High School Host Club

I love this show! When it first came out, reviewers kept comparing it to Hana Yori Dango, so I didn't want to bother with it, but I think that is a very unfair comparison. The show has some very strong Utena-esque elements: the androgyny of the main character; the ridiculous, flowery, private school environment; the over-the-top characters (Tamaki is a dead-ringer for Touga)... it is sort of a parody of certain aspects of shoujo anime, and it's very, very funny. The style is also very distinct and pleasing to the eye. It's my favorite anime so far this year. Any other fans?

Dear god.

I just started watching this last night, and it was HILARIOUS. I adored it. My friend gave me the whole series, and I can't wait to finish it.

Honey-chan = WIN. XDDDD

I love how Utena-ish it is, too.

And Tamaki..*dies* SO DRAMATIC. I LOVE HIM.

Wow. First time I've read a wiki article that made me want to read the manga and see the show. Seriously, this looks REALLY good. I'll buy it sometime...like tomorrow when I go to Borders, and my favorite polish restaurant: AMADEUS!! ^______^ ::throws a Zoisite-esque kisu to it::
Also the Zuka club looks....goooood. ::drools on shirt::

I've only made it up to episode 13, but I LOVE it. XD I don't know who I love more, Tamaki or the twins. I can't remember the last time I watched something that made me laugh like that.

I finished it. And I was sad it was over when I was done. I loved it SO much. It's rare that I adore every single character in a series, but I did here.

I mean, Tamaki's like the biggest sweetheart EVER, Kyouya's schemes are just funny (and brilliant), the twins - OMG, the twins - Honey, Mori, Haruhi... everyone's just so LIKABLE, really.

(And I want a platform I can ride up from the ground like Renge's.)

WAI! My favorite show of all time! <3 I liek the twins...they are hot XD

I actually...thought with was a harem for guys...XD boy was I mistaken. I love Tamaki and how he refferes to Kyouya as Mother and Haruhi and daughter. That my favorite.

I like Nekozawa cause he is cute and huggable <3 After I finnished watching the series I made a Beezlnof puppet and a bun-bun. I'm still waiting for my black magic club coat D:

I've watched the show twice, I just simply adore it! I love the Twins, and I'm a shipper of the twins and Haruhi. Bunny is adorable, and his love of cakes and sweets suits him. Kyouya is well- sometimes he scares me. ^^
I'm starting to like Mori as well the relationship between himself and Hunny is so sweet. I'm not sure if I'll watch the Funimation dub as I already started to watch the sub before the official dub is out. So I can't really say weather or not I like them both.

I've started reading the manga, it's very interesting to see who different or similar both are.
