The action is great I love watching Lime, Cherry and Bloodberry beat up Tiger, Luchs, and Pather. Plus I love watcing chick fight and the show is very funny.

CS doesn't know a lot about the show but I do. I started renting the show on video and love it. Then I saw it again on DVD. The show is about this guy called Otaru and from a planet called Terra II. It's a all male planet and the women there are machine called Marionettes. One day Otaru woken a sleeping Marrionette by the name of Lime and later he woke up Cherry and Bloodberry too.

the science in the show is pretty bad (cloning females would be simple even with only male DNA to work with) but the show itself is pretty fun. The characters are cool. It was one of my first non TV anime series that I saw and liked.

To better clarify:

The story starts when a ship crash-lands on a planet named Terra II. However, since the survivors are all male and obviously sterile (the only female depicted on the ship is a scientist named Lorelai), they keep their heritage through clones and construct female robots called Marionettes.

300 years later, the survivors' succeeding pure clones (all others are mixed) rule over six colonies. One of these colonies is Japoness, ruled by Shôgun Ieyasu. Here, we have our main characters, Otaru Mamiya and Hanagata Mitsurugi. One day, Otaru manages to fall into a room that contains a sleeping Saber Marionette (one with emotions, that is programmed to learn and grow), the childlike Lime. And after Lime is awakened, the mature Cherry and temptress Bloodberry follow. Usually, the three will spend their free time vying for Otaru's love while beating the crap out of Hanagata (who also wants Otaru's love).

But there is a super-evil force, the neighbouring colony of Gartland, ruled over by Lord Faust with his own three Saber Marionettes, the ruthless Tiger, Panther and Lynx. He wants to rule the place, and will stop at nothing to get it.
