Di-Gi Charat!

I have volumes one through three (there are only four published by Viz, but Broccoli Books are making Di-Gi Charat Theatre) but so far, I like it! In case you don't know about it, here's a quick summary (since it kinda spoils some stuff, I'll mark it as a spoiler)
[spoiler] Di-Gi Charat is about a 10 year old alien princess Di-Gi Charat (Digiko for short) who's cute, but a bit of a brat. Anywaz, she goes to Akihabara, Japan to become a super star. Sadly, she's not there yet, so for now she has to work at a store called Gamers (it's called Anime Gamers in California), get a meger salary, and live off of rice and natto. Luckly, she's not alone; with the round, yellow, floating, upside down face ball Gema (he's like her guardian), and the sweet, but sharp tounged Petit Charat (Puchinko for short), Digiko has allies around her. But, she also has rivals; another Gamers employee Rabi en Rose (Usada's her real name) who also wants to be a star (but she also becomes friends with Digiko), and Piyoko, leader of the Dark Gema Gema gang (who's also an alien and wants to kidnap Digiko for ransom). So as you can see, it's really crazy. [/spoiler]

Di-Gi Charat is by Koge Dobono and others. It's kinda like doushiji (sp?) and it's really crazy.

Oh my Gosh! I love this show too! I saw all the episodes via download. They are AWSOME! $.$ I only have the first volume of Di Gi Charat right now because I cant find the others >.< It is extremely cute and messed up. Hooray for Di Gi Charat!

Kool! I love it when Digiko fries Gema with her eyebeams or when Puchinko fries both of them. Who's your fave chara? I love Puchinko, she is just the cutest little thing ever! Next would be a three way tie between Digiko, Usada, and Piyoko; Digiko because she's cute and evil

, Usada because she's kind and gentle (but also like Digiko), and Piyoko because I feel sorry for her cuz she's poor (well, actually, they're all poor).

BTW-Do you notice that Digiko doesn't get any guys? Puchinko has Murataku, Usada has Minataku, and Piyoko has Rik, Ky, and Coo. Well, there are those two fanboys, but still...

Oh, yeah I also like it when they add "Meow!" or "Myew!" or "Gema!" or "Geba!" or "Squeek!" at the end of their sentences. I think it's cute

Well Digiko does have her 2 loyal fans...I forgot their names. Pichiko gets my favorite vote. The rest must bow down before Puchiko cuteness!

When Puchiko tries to do the eye beam thing was my favorite episode other than the intro of Usada.

I love this show as well. I love the sheer insanity of it.
And her name is Puchiko, not Puchinko.
I cosplayed as Digiko for two conventions ^^ I'll post the pictures below:
Melinda is Rabi En Rose, her sister is Puchiko, and I'm Digiko (green hair, for those that don't know).

More Digiko and Rabi goodness.

That's what I wore this halloween, too XD;

Oh, yeah I also like it when they add "Meow!" or "Myew!" or "Gema!" or "Geba!" or "Squeek!" at the end of their sentences. I think it's cute

Digiko says "nyo", Puchiko says "nyu".

I love how deliciously evil Puchiko can seem sometimes.

This is interesting, I saw on one website Puchiko was described as being very quiet. So she's quiet, but also kind of mean? She kind of sounds like Ruri from Nadesico...

Well, the way to describe Puchiko is that she's spacey. She's a girl of few words but has a really sharp tounge when she sometimes speaks. Like she sometimes calls Digiko stupid and she tells Piyoko "Boy, you're dumb." Still she's the cutest thing ever look at this cute picture!

Isn't she kawaii?

Hmm, then I guess she's not quite a Ruri-duplicate, since Ruri isn't spacey. It sounds like an interesting story, and Puchiko's personality sounds pretty interesting too. I think I saw a DiGi Charat manga at the nearby bookstore...I'll look at it again. I looked at it to find Puchiko, since I have this thing for quiet characters (especially ones who are more cold...Puchiko sounds a bit cold from what I've heard), especially girls who are like that since it breaks the stereotype, but I couldn't tell which one was her. Now I somewhat know who to look for, by the shape of her hair! Thanks for the picture!

I saw the first episode of Digi Charat, and I dunno why, but it just seems kind of weird for my taste. I guess it's just because the humans are all fingernails. o.O;; Digiko was pretty cute, though.

XD I love it BECAUSE it's weird. It's insane. And my friends and I called them "Dildo People".

I'm not a very big fan of the show, but I really love the manga!

Puchiko is cute, Piyoko is pretty, and Dijiko and Rabi-en-Rose r0xx0r my s0xx0r! Not to mention the craziness...

Yup, definitely a manga worth adding to my collection... *____*

I have book 1 of the manga..and it's probably confusing becuase these are stories done by different artists by the company Broccoli. The stories don't relate to one another.

Have just bought a DVD of this from Ebay- love the sound of it! Does it have any connection to the PS game "Puchi Carat?" as thats very anime as well. *scuse my ignorance*

I just got a DVD called "Panyo Panyo DiGi Charat" and I'm confused here. This one doesn't have Rabi-en-Rose, it has two other girls named MeeK and Rinna. Is this another season of DiGi Charat? So far I like it, it's very cute and funny. Yes, I still like Puchiko best, I think, though sleepy Rinna is interesting too.

There was more than one DiGi Charat series made, and I think PanyoPanyo was the second or third one.
