Puni Puni Poemi

I was wondering if anyone has seen it. I'm curious about getting it, but I'm also scared to because I don't know whether or not I would like it and I don't want to waste 20-something dollars on something I end up not liking. So here are some questions:

1) Does anyone have small clips (not full episodes) from it (especially the part where she apparently beats up Sailor Moon or from the second episode) that aren't bit-torrent or streaming files?
2) If not that, any good screenshots? Especially from the second episode with the scary hentai parts.
3) Any dialogue scripts?

I've done a lot of Internet research on it (mostly reviews, there seems to be very few fansites for it) but I'm still not sure. I'm very curious about it, though, I just had a dream last night about getting a video of it (so it was cheaper than a DVD). I even just put a Poemi Sim on my Sims game (well not really, but I pretend she's in it even though the Sim doesn't look exactly like her).

I LOVE Puni Puni Poemy!!!! The English dub sucks, though. We've only watched it once. The Japanese, though, is incredible. Poemy's seiyuu (sp?) is a definite expert at speaking incredibly fast (reminescent of Kotono Mitsuishi a bit). I'll try to take some screenshots that I'll post the link to.

(BTW, Poemy doesn't exactly beat up Sailor Moon...it's more like a short parody.)

Basically, if you like Excel Saga, you'll probably like Poemy. Heck, I didn't even really care for Excel, but love Poemy. *shrug* Anyway, I'll be back with screenies!

Poemi is one of those shorts that's funny if you watch it and very funny if you watch it with other fans. It helps to know Excel Saga but it's not necessary. None of the hentai parts go very hardcore. It's more the threat of it than anything else. As for clips. . . well, I have both episodes, and can clip them as much as you'd like and then YSI or IM them to you. So how much do you want to recieve?

Actually, I don't like to receive large files over email (and I don't have nor want any instant messaging programs). I would rather find it for myself (there's a good chance my mom, who has DSL at her work, could download it for me). I'm more looking for screenshots or small clips. She don'st just kill Sailor Moon, she kills pretty much every magical girl! There's a shot of Megu and Non from Majokko Megu-Chan, and the last opponent she faces is Sally The Witch (first magical girl) It has a few other inside jokes, and parodies. I was a bit upset that ADV didn't include the pop-notes, since some jokes are hard to catch (like the Devilman one).

If you love Excel Saga, you'll love Puni. If you hated Excel, you'll hate Puni.

Because I posted the request first, and then I told my mom about the problems, and she volunteered to download the episodes for me (which might not even work). I'll edit it so that it says "small clips" of the show instead of full episodes. Once again, I apologize for being unclear.

I think I have thought more about it, and there's more of a chance I might like it. But buying the actual DVD is still a last resort (though if I don't find a substitute by my birthday, which is on June 23, I'll use any birthday money I get to buy it).

I apologize again, I made an unclear request, then got the offer from my mom, and then was unclear once again.

that's becuase you have to have winrar. It's free to download, and it's works sort of like winzip.

I just watched both episodes!! I ordered the DVD off the Internet a week ago and it came today. Here are some various thoughts I had about it:
-I have finally found a character more hyper than Tomo of Azumanga Daioh. (and that's not a BAD thing)
-I could read almost all the subtitles despite the fast pace except for the very end of the part of the Aasu sisters' family meeting, which I'm guessing had the characters' voices sped up because they sounded like what happens when my tape players messes up and goes at high speed.
-The "hentai-ish" part wasn't really that scary, just weird. It just shows the girls tied up and then some weird pictures with their faces moaning. I was a little afraid it would be like the first episode of Devil Hunter Yohko, which scared me when I saw it (I didn't know it would almost do a hentai thing on it), but it wasn't scary. Just weird, and I got the jokes about Japanese culture. (especially because of anime being stereotyped as only hentai by some people)
-I liked the "I wanna be a voice actress" part of Poemi's character a lot since I like doing amateur voice acting (reading anime subtitles aloud, reading aloud from comic books, etc).
-The breast jokes didn't bother me that much since I know what they were parodying. But there were a LOT of them, and I've never seen an anime character (Shii, specifically) want to have smaller breasts. So she breaks the stereotype I've seen of the large-breasted anime character because they usually brag about it.
--The shoujo-ai parts with Futaba and Poemi were cute! (then again, I like shoujo-ai stories) I especially liked how they combined their powers at the end....the power of girl/girl love will prevail!

Verdict: Surprisingly, I liked it! Especially the voice-acting jokes.

I still find it kinda weird to hear Kotono Mitsuishi as a dominatrix.

I just rented puni puni poemi from blockbuster. It was realy funny. Me and my brother have the movie and game pass so we get a new game and anime each week.

I just thought of some weird coincidential similarities between Chibi-Usa and Poemi:
-They both have long pink pigtails (at least transformed Poemi does)
-They both kiss horses (well, Poemi does in her imagination...which makes it even CLOSER to Chibi-Usa, who meets Helios in her dreams)
-They both have parents who are characters who are based off the creator in some way (Nabeshin is the animated form of Shinichi Watanabe and Usagi is, in many ways, based off of Naoko Takeuchi)
-They both lose their parents at some point (and through a disaster caused by aliens) but [spoiler]they and their families are back together by the end of story[/spoiler]
-They are both friends with quiet girls who have purple hair and weird powers, and said girls live in families with magic powers (and who might be lesbians...I don't know if the Aasu sisters are lesbians, besides Futaba, but Haruka and Michiru are)
-They both have voices that are considered to be annoying by some fans (and I like both of their voices a lot and can imitate them)

Although it's interesting that Chibi-Usa is a princess but Poemi is poor.
