Favorite Baddie

What is your favorite villain or villains from an anime and/or manga? No Sailor Moon.

Mine would be Dr. Muraki from the anime Descendants of Darkness for being such a hot, sick, evil and twisted bastard. That's one hell of a grudge he has.

Queen Merla, from the second season of Lion voltron (back somewhere in 1986 I think). I thought she kicked ass as a villian, with the way she used her wit and sarcasm and such. It's a shame she was only in it for about 10 or so episodes (LV season two was only 20 episodes T_T;)

Also from LV season two, is another Doomite named Cossack. He royally sucked as a villian; I jsut think he was funny. ~_^

Everything he does is methodical. He knows what needs to be done and gets it done with brutal efficiency. Plus he enjoys all the chaos and despair he creates.

I'd have to say I'm torn between Muraki and Hisoka (not 'Yami no Matsuei' Hisoka, but 'Hunter X Hunter' Hisoka). Both are very twisted and scarily likeable.

Sometimes it's hard to definitvely call a character a villain. Would Ilpalazzo from Excel Saga be a villain? If so he's probably my favorite anime one. For manga, I'll take Kamon Yonemi from Battle Roayle. No question about his bad guy status--rape, murder, torture, sick perversions.

Villain:
1. A wicked or evil person; a scoundrel
2. A dramatic or fictional character who is typically at odds with the hero.
3. Something said to be the cause of particular trouble or an evil

Since Ilpalazzo is the one who sends Excel out on her missions, during which she causes quite a bit if trouble, I'd say he would count as one. The person doesn't have to be out and out evil.

And how could I forget Akio? Being Indian, he probably wrote the Kama Sutra. In the manga he torches Utena's dorm so he can rescue her from it and look like a Prince.

In anime, I suppose it would be Legato from Trigun and Vicious from Cowboy Bepop. In manga I would say Nakago from Fushigi Yugii (I've only read the manga, I haven't seen the anime yet) and Adrian Clay from Boys Next Door (it was a manga that was featured in Hana to Yume I believe).

anime: malik ishtar's evil personallity from yugioh: duel monsters. i love the way he's so twisted and loves playing with people's heads (before noah's ark anyway, after that he was annoying).
manga: kiriyama kazuo from battle royale because he's just a stone-cold killer.

I also love Schuldich fro Weiss Kreuz. His name means sin for a reason ^.~. Crawford too, but that's because he dresses schnazzy.

My favorite out of Schwartz has to be Farfarello. Incredibly twisted, insane and (for some reason) Irish. Shuldich is deliciously evil as well but his voice is far too nasal.

This should be painfully obvious. Musashi and Kojiro and Nyasu too. ^^

Kojiro, as much as I adore him, is the reason many girls hate Musashi. -sniff-

But the thing I don't understand is why so many people think he is gay (not that it's impossible) and say his crossdressing habits are the reason. EVERYONE in Pokemon crossdressed at some point!
Musashi several times, Kasumi once, SATOSHI- the STAR- crossdressed twice, once as Sato-chan and another as Julie (and Takeshi ended up chasing him xD) and Takeshi wears a ruffled pink apron and we all know he's straight. Hrmph, silly stereotypes... Gah, must not get so off-topic-y. @_@;;

The Rocketto dan are the most developed of the main characters in the show too. ^^
And they have PASTS!! -gasps-

And as personalty-lacking as Kosaburo and Yamato are, they are cute. And Kosaburo is funny when he gets mad, so foo, what'cha gonna do?

Anyways, also, I think Hisouka from Hunter x Hunter is, as a friend of mine would say, teh smex. xD

most of the anime/manga I watch/read doesn't really have a main, "enemy/negative" character... Kodocha, Fruits Basket *only volume 1...*

One thing that may suprise you:

DBZ- Freezer. the only character that actually CHOOSES to be evil... and he's pretty damn good at it too. the fight vs. Son Gokou... who else agrees it was too damn long?
