Prevalent themes, lesbians in short skirts, memorable characters, lesbians in short skirts, various instances that weren't the epitome of cliche, and lesbians in short skirts.
XD what he said.

And I simply enjoy the plots better in SM. In every season, there is at least one "side plot" (ex: Classic, the silver millenium and its past...R: The black moon family, and the future...S: Hotaru and the emergence of the outers...SuperS: Helios and Chibiusa....Stars: Mamoru's departure, and the emergence of the three lights). It just seems that InuYasha is always...about..the same...thing.

Joey: The question is, Rachel, does he like you? ''Cuz if he doesn''t, then it''s all just a moo point.
Rachel: Huh...a...moo point?
Joey: Yeah. It''''s like a cow''s opinion. It doesn''t matter....It''s moo.

And I really cannot stand Kagome. At all.
The immortal question: If you can't stand it, then why do you keep trying to watch it?

It's just like me and... oh, say, Rave Master. I hated the first episode, so I didn't watch it anymore. Every single character on screen, I despised. It went under "Anime I didn't like." And then, Pokemon. I hate it with a shining, glowing passion. However, I respect the fact that it has a large fan base and I won't be glorified when it ends.

Yes, I am rather dismayed at this news. It's my second favorite anime, after all, what did you expect.

The immortal question: If you can't stand it, then why do you keep trying to watch it?
I don't like the show much either but I still try to watch it. ^^; so it's not like it's a rediculus notion.

It's not that I don't like the voice acting. I happen like Kirby Marrow. He's one of my favorite English-Speaking voice actors next to Eric Stewert and Crispin Freeman. In fact, he's probably the only reason I give it a chance now and then. And it's not so much the plot. I think the series is perfectly good. It's just that I find it boring. Very, very boring. At least the episodes I manage to watch is increadiably boring. So I usually don't watch it for a month then try again in hopes that I catch an episode I like. But I guess I need to watch it from the begining to understand. :/
And really, why shouldn't we be afraid? In case you haven't heard, life is terminal. Cigarettes will kill you. So will your cellphone. Your car is a deadly weapon and alcohol is a quiet killer. Don't lick the lead-based paint on the walls. Don't lick the back of a postage stamp and certainly don't lick any strangers! That will bring you down quickly indeed. Don't drink the water but don't drink less than eight glasses a day. Your enviroment is toxic, your natural resources are dwindling, your days are numbered, but what ever you do, don't panic! The stress, don't you know, will kill you.

*Blink* I don't. At all. I started to a while back, tried to get into it, can't stand it, and so I don't watch it.

How aboutt asking me if I actually still watch it before assuming?

"I try to watch this every time it comes on..." Sounds pretty much like you've been trying, well, every time it comes on. Possibly because you said "try," Not "tried," but "try." A little correct use of words, please?

Yes, "try". Not "Sit there and watch the entire episode just to torture myself". I want to give it the benefit of the doubt since it is so popular. But I usually end up turning it off 5 minutes into the episode..therefore, I DON'T just sit around watching it, just for the sake of bitching about it.

I honestly don't know, becuase I can't stand the show. For some reason, people love it. Hell, when I go to cons, there are like 100 Iny Yasha cosplayers (just that char himself) running around.

It's got the semi-cliche situation of a boy and a girl who don't like each other forced to be together until they grow closer, and build comedy around it. Like Ranma. That kind of thing sells. Also fangirls think Inuyasha is cute. `
Things I think Are Funny Early in the Morning: If Batman were a Smurf: "Quick, Robin! We must smurf down to the Batcave and smurf the Batplane! Then we must smurf the batsmurf so we can smurf where the Joker is smurfing!"

The Croonerism Spate (explanations upon request)
Be careful with this one, there is a bit of a pun involved. Dr. Spooner described his visit to a castle: "In the center of the fortress was the Palace Court. The gated entrance to this area was the court palace."

GRRR

I can't stand Inuyasha Cosplayers. Mainly because the last con I went to, an Inuyasha cosplayer slammed into my mom.

'Asshole' was the first word out of my mom's mouth. XD

Anyway, with the ending coming soon I wonder what it'll be like? I imagine Inuyasha using the jewel to be human, and live in the normal time with Kagome. Or something. Of course, that would very cliche.

x_X Most of them are women, and most of them are...really bad. ^^; I have seen some very good ones, but the majority of them are just...ew.

As for the last episode..maybe they'll kill off Kagome! =D!!
...what?

Yes. I like the show, but they must kill Kagome. Maybe she'll get mauled by a possessed Kilala? Or maybe Inuyasha will get so tired of her whining that he'll toss her off a cliff! Or both! Yeah, both is good. *contented sigh*

Oh. Well, my rule is just usually "If I hate it, I will never watch it again." Then I'll tell people what I thought of it.

*snarls cheetah-style at the both of you and goes to stand in front of Kagome, having turned into cheetah with bared, razor-sharp teeth* You forget that this is an extremely popular anime based 'round a relationship. There is a little less than 0.0000000000000001% chance that it will not have a happy ending. *snarls some more*

Nope, I don't forget .I just really, really wouldn't mind if they killed her off! =D!

And quite frankly, I think it's based off of fangirlisms for Inu Yasha, but whatever.

i like kagome, in the orignal anyway. now, if they could find a way to kill her off in the dub only, that would be just dandy.

When it comes to cosplayers, it's hard to tell sometimes whether it's a Rei from SM or a Kagome. But Inuyasha himself is cosplayed so often because it's a simple enough costume and a popular enough character, especially among the fangirls. I'm planning to make one myself and go glomp whoring at a con. ^_^

I agree about the Kagome/Rei thing.

And as for glomp whoring at cons..I refuse to glomp an Inu Yasha cosplayer.

So don't expect one from me if yo ucome to the same con as I some day. LOL

It airs on YTV Friday nights at 11 and 11:30 PM (Mountain). I think the same two episodes repeat a few hours later, but I'm not totally sure.

YTV is still only airing the first two seasons, from I heard earlier. This upcoming Friday will be episodes 31 & 32. It's farther along in the States on Cartoon Network (Adult Swim) ... I'm not sure where it's at.

I know a lot of people don't like it, and that's fine. Most of the people I know stopped watching it a while ago, partly because they weren't too interested in it any more, and partly because it's really long. I have to admit, there were times when I was kind of annoyed by it, but once they got away from the monster-of-the-week type stuff, it got a lot better, in my opinion.

All in all, it's been a series well worth my time, and I look forward to the ending.
