Ah okay, sorry didn't know I was supposed to put in my age. (Course I joined back in February or something so that's possibly why) As for the read the rules part, that doesn't mean I'm breaking any does it? *Is easily confused* Cept for maybe with this particular post.

And I must add that your site is quite good. I only wish I could actually watch Papillion Rose.

Definetly anyone that can watch the OVA should try to, it may be a little... disturbing depending on what you're expecting.

General warnings are-
Nudity (Nipples but that's all the detail there is)
Sex (Unexplicit, you don't see body parts doing... things lol)

And of course all the sexual innuendo/references... like the Pinky Vibrator and such. It's... well...

should be kinda obvious after reading the entire topic here.

But apparently the TV series is supposed to be taking place a year or so after the OVA, so I'm thinking they'll keep some things the same. Basically it kind of takes from Sailor Moon R in the whole... everyone lost their memory/powers after the battle in the last 'season' and are living 'new lives' until a new threat comes to the Earth and the kitty has to get everyone back together to fight.

But I doubt they'll make anything so that you have to know everyhting about the past of the show to understand it. Though it'd be nice to have references to things only long-time fans would know about.

Sites? Really besides mine there were only two others that I know of in English. The fandub site which was up and down over a few years and never had too much on it. And the translation site the girl who is helping me had up (we're putting both our sites together but she's having some troubles with her sister who owns the computer her translations were on so she's most likely going to start trying to re-translate everything soon).

I've personally been a little lazy the past year in updating the website cause I was down about the slow deterioration of the show back at the end of last year, however I've been meaning to put as much as I can back up before the TV series airs, there's just only so much I can do personally before I have to look towards my friend for her pieces that need to be put up and I don't want to pressure her since it's a LOT of work she's going to be doing. (She's translating the old official website stuff, the original archive book, and the R animation archive book)

And I was happy to see Koyasu Takehito listed too, since him and Maria Yamamoto are the only two seiyuu in the list that I recognize the names of. I'm just a little sad neither one of them have updated websites! The only people's websites I can look to for information are Kido Kaoru's (singer for the TV series songs) and Nagai Mai's (voice of Shizuku/Papillon Margarette for the TV series).

Oh actually, I just read a message from my translating friend. She got the files off her sister's computer! So she's going to start polishing up the translations she's done in the past and I'll have the character information section back up some time after she gives me the finished products! This makes me so happy, I really didn't want her to have to go through all that trouble again just cause her sister was being a pain and deleting stuff of hers.

Going on,there is a sex scene, but it's not explicit. Most people when they say 'hentai' refer to things that show explicit scenes, that's why I generally try to keep people from using the term in reference to Papillon Rose because it... 'disappoints' those people who take the term that way when they go to watch it... if you can understand what I'm saying there.

UNDER17 was a really... cutesy band in a sense, I guess you could say. The vocalist had (well has... she's still singing for anime) the most cotton candy sweet voice you'd ever hear, honestly. If you've heard of the show Nurse Witch Komugi-chan, the singer did the voice of the main character in that and sings songs for it as well. (I don't know if those were done as UNDER17 or just Momoi Haruko songs though, I'd have to check around) also some Popotan songs and some other anime songs that I can't think of right at the moment.

And yeah, the OVA had a lot of... intense moments, things that made my friends blush and hide (I can think of one... Hikaru... Rama... it shall never leave my memory) and I think they'll probably ommit some of the more shocking type things from the TV series (besides, Hikaru isn't even in the TV series though... doesn't mean Hibiki won't take his place... who knows) but hopefully still try to keep the perversion needed to make it still be the Papillon Rose that fans of the show have come to know and love. And yes... the parody pieces for Cutey Honey and Sailor Moon, I hope those both stay, this is where the lack of a mention of Dandy Lion made me kind of sad.

Well the site I was thinking of and can't find anymore had tonnes of character info and prospective images for the likes of the Saturn character (which I believe was part of the original hoax out of which this beautiful truth was born). I found a few at the time (back when this topic was first started) but now they seemed to have packed up shop.

I feel so dirty downloading this is my English lab! *teehee*

Was the site in Japanese or English? If it was in Japanese then it was probably the official website, which the original one closed down back around February of this year (which is why the announcement about the TV series at the end of last month was such a surprise to people who had been fans for a while).

If it was an English site then I have no idea because I already stated the only three English ones I've ever known of. I'd assume any other ones would have been posted on the Livejournal community at some point since there's almost no way a hardcore person could miss that place.

Anyways, the Saturn-like character is Papillon Cosmos, that was the last haox season of Papillon Rose... er... actually it was listed as a 'movie', Papillon Rose G, and was said to be the finale... which well we know how that went obviously. I have the story that was on the official site for that which needs to be translated someday, it's about... 7 pages long or something.

On my end (and perhaps universally?) the torrent link does not work by clicking, probably to prevent direct linking-like bandwidth hogging. Thus, it's easiest to just right click->copy link location, and then paste into the address bar of your web browser to get the torrent started.

I checked the link when it was put up too, doesn't work. Then I searched Boxtorrents and the only Papillon Rose torrent there right now is the OSTs. So... that's probably why it doesn't work. Non-existant torrent.

You may have to check the box for "adult" torrents, which the site uses as a filter.

Why they listed it as adult is beyond me, I see so many 'it's not hentai' and 'not enough this and that' (coming from people who were HOPING it was hentai...) posts... and people just plain ripping on it. I hate Boxtorrents. (This isn't the main reason why)

I wonder which fansub it is...

Actually looking at the file size... the poster probably got it from when I had it on Hongfire, it's the same size as my 'quality down' EcChiZ fansub copy (the original was 300+ megabytes, of which I did not want to torrent at the time...).

Ah well that's good, I'd be sad if it was the only other fansub I'd seen. EcChiZ version has some mistakes but at least it didn't make me wanna beat my head on my desk repeatedly.

Anyways, thanks for pointing out why we couldn't get to it. (Also made me realize I didn't have the boxes in my profile there checked anyway. I tend to forget about stuff that isn't asked right when I sign up)

Well, again, I was able to download it by right-clicking on the link and saving the link location (a URL), then posting it into the web address bar and hitting enter. I was able to download the episode from there.

Just finished watching it, and it was both very XD and oO at the same time. I'd imagine that, if it does make it as a show, that a LOT of what they put in would have to be removed or toned down heavily, but to be honest, I wouldn't mind; Dandylion's entrance and the final scene were a WEE bit over the top for my taste. Otherwise, however, I got a good laugh out of this, and expect the show to be just as funny, if not moreso. However, as many other people have pointed out, this is NOT for the meek or puritan-minded individual; it's VERY borderline hentai, so download and view at your own risk ^^

Welp, I just watched the OAV...and..wow. It was insane and wtf and pretty all at the same time.

I think Derek and I said "wtf" more than like...ten times.

Tsubomi Koneko...do you happen to know who does Dandelion's voice? It sounds so incredibly like Takehito Koyasu (does Illapallazzo from Excel Saga, and Touga from Utena). I seriously heard Dandelion speak and went "OH MY GOD, IS THAT KOYASU?!" and Derek's jaw dropped, too.

*Major brain fart* I just went back to one of my earlier posts and realized exactly WHY the name Takehito Koyasu was familiar to me when I saw it listed on the new official website's cast info...

Like duh... he was in the OVA! Posting that cast list after your comment made me realize this

sometimes I'm a tad bit slow.

Though, this makes me wonder... he's doing the voice of Hibiki... hmm... Hikaru... Hibiki... hmm... they could like totally be twins as it is just from the imagery.
