Unemotional Klutzes?

I was wondering if there were any anime characters who were more cold and reserved (like Sailor Pluto on BSSM, Zakuro on Tokyo Mew Mew or Heero on Gundam Wing)...you know, that kind of calm, collected, usually competent character. But are there are any with that kind of personality who are clumsy like Usagi? Or maybe just plain inept at things? I just was wondering, because usually the less emotional characters are more graceful physically, at least in the anime I've seen. So if there are characters like that out there, tell me!

By the way, yes, I know Lettuce on Tokyo Mew Mew is rather shy and clumsy, that's not what I mean, I mean someone who has a more collected personality than she does, I don't mean the shy kind of quiet.

I had to read that three times before I understood, lol.
I can't think of any cool, collected characters (how's that for alliteration?) who are clumsy like Usagi. It would be pretty funny, but it would also ruin the basic integrity of the character.

*imagines Pluto tripping* O_o;

I know it's incongrous, that's why I like the idea (and why I'm asking instead of finding examples myself, because I can't, and I've tried). The closest one I can think of is Hyatt from Excel Saga, since she's generally calm (so far as I've seen, and that was only the first five episodes before I got too disturbed by that mournful Menchi ending them) and is dying all the time, or something like that. But she's sweet and nice, and not really that cold.

As for Pluto tripping...I'd love to see it!

I thought of Hyatt too, but the one that leapt to mind was Sakaki from Azumanga Daioh.
(Yeah, she leapt to mind because you just watched the show.)

She's definitely the stoic, Pluto-type. And while not exactly klutzy she gets injured a lot by kitty cats and shows up bandadged a lot, plus she's spacey enough to believe that Chiyo-chichi is really Chiyo's father. And she'll go walking out of her way after a cute bunny or something. I wouldn't call her shy because she has a lot of friends, she's just taciturn.

Out of curiosity, is this just wondering, or is this for an RPG or a fanfic or something?

That...doesn't make any sense to me..at all. o___O;

As RT says, it would kind of ruin the point of the character.

I guess Sakaki is pretty close to that, that's why I like her so much.

As for the question about why, it's mostly curiosity. It's sort of for fanfic, I have one or two characters that are like that. But I didn't want to mention my fanfics because I've been scolded for that. So it's mostly for curiosity.

I thought of something else that somewhat similar, though not quite. Ayanami Rei isn't clumsy, but boy is she messy. The last time I remember seeing Eva I remember her room being strewn with bloody clothes or something like that.

In some ways I find it slightly surprising that there aren't any characters like that, even if not used for comedic purposes (as I use them). I would find a stoic, cold character who was clumsy to be more amazingly stoic than one who was graceful. It's easy to be calm when you're not tripping all the time. Although that's probably why those characters are often put through so much pain in other ways.

well, this isn't anime but isn't minako from PGSM somewhat like that? Well never mind, shes not really clumsy, but she has a fun side but still remains cold.

Not much comes to mind. I can say Sakura from Sakura Wars kind of fits your description. She's a serious girl, but she's really clumsy like Usagi.

I think I've found two characters to mention here, one of whom DEFINITELY is what I was looking for and I didn't even realize it.

1) Yuki from Fruits Basket. Well, sort of, in that he's generally the quiet one and he's clumsy about housework. The scene where they're fixing the wall and Yuki's trying to help but he just breaks a hole in it again comes to mind.

2) Ropponmatsu One from Excel Saga. I wonder how I forgot about her?! She's the unemotional one, and she's kind of clumsy too because she's so big and clunky (super-heavy, too).
