When I read that it was an Eva AMV set to Engel, I thought it would be super serious. Then I saw Asuka lip-syncing Till Lindemann's bass voice, and began giggling madly. XD

It was really well done, and that song couldn't be any more perfect for the series.

Hearing that deep voice come out of Asuka made me giggle also. I think it's great, though, that the author synched up the lyrics with the video, chose a song that fits and used clips from more then a couple of episodes. Too many AMVs don't do this. Too many also seem afraid to manipulate the video. With the Hold Me Now video, the author sped up the clips to match the beat of the song. Another problem I find is that people don't seem to realize it's OK not to use current songs and/or songs that are not on the Top 40. So, it is gratifying when you do find good videos.

By the way, has anyone else been having lagging problems with AMV.org lately? I used to be able to download AMVs from them in about five minutes but now it takes at least 15 minutes just to download one AMV and my Internet will disconnect randomly sometimes, so it makes downloading AMVs from them a real pain.

Also:
It's not like I'm making money by "promoting" my work.
It may be egotistical of me but but I think they're good videos that members will enjoy. If I get feedback that they're junk and a waste of time then I can see your point. Otherwise???

Now on to other matters. I've been using the Adobe Premiere Elements 3 software to create my videos. I purchased it as a package with their Photoshop Elements 5 software for $150. Just the Premiere software alone cost $100. This is a fantastic software package with lots of features not found on the Windows or Apple software. Plus most of the features are very easy to figure out. As far as importing the videos onto the computer I purchased the Turtle Beach's Video Advantage hardware package. It allows the capture of both digital and analog video. I have it hooked up to my DVD player and it's capture software is very easy to use. The Video Advantage package also comes with its own videos editing software but I haven't tried it yet. If your serious able doing this kind of work you'll find that these products make the whole process much easier. Let me know if you have any questions on specific features your interested in.
