Post by ParaKiss_Groupie » Sun Oct 26, 2003 7:41 pm

What are your favorite anime music videos? Mine are:

"Future Girls" to Sailor Moon, done by Ninja Cracker Studios. Song: "Future Girls" Artist: Smile.dk

"For a Cause" to Sailor Moon, done by Kaston Griffin. Song: "It's my Turn to Fly" Artist: I don't know, the credits don't say.

"Senshi on Springer" to Sailor Moon, done by Doki Doki Productions. Song: "Jerry Springer" Artist: Weird Al

"Blue Mercury" to Sailor Moon, by Aluminum Studios. Song: "I'm Blue" Artist: Eiffel 65

"Sailor Satan" to Sailor Moon, by Delusional Productions. Song:
"Satan is my Master" Artist: Ben Folds Five (this is so funny! Download it if you haven't seen it!)

"Don't Think of Me" to Fushigi Yuugi, by Kusoyuro Productions. Song: "Don't Think of Me" Artist: Dido

"Gate of Babylon" to Shaman King, by Zelgadis. Song: "Last Resort" Artist: Papa Roach

"Try" to Lain, by Aluminum Studios. Song: "Try" Artist: Natalie Imbruglia

"Medication" to Lain, by Brentwood. Song: "Medication" Artist: Garbage.

That's all for me.

I've only ever seen one, and I liked it, it was a Sailor Moon video to the song "My Only love", it was a dub song yet it had clips from stars o_O_o

Random Note: DBZ + Linkin park = Most used things in music videos EVAR!

"Rhythm Animation" is my favorite AMV. It uses the song "Rhythm Generation" by Two-Mix (Excellent song, btw) and clips from about 20 different anime series.

Another favorite uses Beethoven's "Ode to Joy" to clips from Cowboy Bebop, Trigun, Evangelion, and the Kenshin OVAs. Damn good AMV if you like upbeat music (as I do.)

I found an entertaining AMV to the song "the Devil Went down to Georgia" once.
"Tell my tale to those who ask... tell it truthfully, the ill deeds along with the good, and let me be judged accordingly. The rest... is silence..." last words of Dinobot, "Code of Hero"
"Is that a poisonous elephant in your pocket or are you happy to see me?" ~another forum
"Monster! I''''m going to collide with you indefinitely as my limbs flail wildly about!" ~NPC, Dragon Warrior VII
"I bet you were thinking how hot it would be to see Tsunade with her gates wide open, inviting you..." ~DuneMan
"To use gaming terms, Tyrannosaurus Rex was a camper--- and he pwned his prey!" ~BaronVonAwesome
"I prefer to beat my opponents the old-fashioned way: brutally!" ~Dinobot

One that Tiff made I absolutely loved. I used to Watch it all_the_time_. It Was "Hole in my Soul" by Aerosmith done to Utena Clips. ;_; It was lost after the last reformat.

Mamboleo I can't remember who performed it. It was a mixture of a hundred different animes, but it was timed EXCELLENT. Madonna's "Frozen" done to Samurai X. It made me go out and buy the anime. Thomas Dolby's "She Blinded Me With Science" featuring clips with Tenshi Muyo's "Washu". Lastly, Reel Big Fish's version Duran Duran's single "Hungry like the wolf" set to "Lupin the 3rd".

::edit::

and "The Pitch" from Moulin Rouge" soundtrack done to various animes.

good times ..
And really, why shouldn't we be afraid? In case you haven't heard, life is terminal. Cigarettes will kill you. So will your cellphone. Your car is a deadly weapon and alcohol is a quiet killer. Don't lick the lead-based paint on the walls. Don't lick the back of a postage stamp and certainly don't lick any strangers! That will bring you down quickly indeed. Don't drink the water but don't drink less than eight glasses a day. Your enviroment is toxic, your natural resources are dwindling, your days are numbered, but what ever you do, don't panic! The stress, don't you know, will kill you.

I haven't seen that many, but I like the Weird Al ones:

Senshi on Springer, to Jerry Springer

I Think I'm a Clone Now about Neon Genesis Evangelion

Alternative Polka, also about Evangelion

The only other good one I've seen is "Dreams of Red" about Sailor Mars to Deset Rain by Sting.

I've seen a bunch, but to name a few, I'd say that I love the Sailor Mercury video to the song 'Blue' and the Outer Senshi set to Metallica's 'The Four Horsemen'. But my all time favorites are the Usagi & Mamoru video with the song 'Angel Eyes' and the Evangelion video to Rammstein's 'Engel'. The Angel Eyes video is EVERYWHERE so I assume most of you haver seen it. But the Engel video is hilarious, it has Auska and Shinji lip-syncing to the song...extremely funny stuff.
Stop squirming, you're making the procedure more difficult.

"Dreams of Red" by Aluminum Studios.

Best one ever, I don't know why, I have this feeling.

I want to make some AMVs, myself, but I don't have any programs that can do it.

I've seen the Senshi on Springer and the Blue Mercury videos. I tried to watch a Rammstein "Du Hast" SM video but the quality was poor. And one titled "Dark Side of the Moon". Had no idea what the song was, only downloaded it thinking it was Pink Floyd.

I did like a picture title Someting Awful used for one of their weekend web features- "I once made an Inuyasha music video to the theme from Dragnet"

I like the Sailor Moon music video, Tokyo Girl, and the Mercury Blue music video, but I had to delete them off the computer, because it always made the computer slow whenever I watched them. :( My fav non-Sailor Moon music video is a Macross Plus music video set to Yoko Kanno's Information High.

That does not suck. Subtitels or no subtitles, that was excellent.

When did you save Desert Rose? The last I heard, you coulnd't save the prject into WMV. *wants to see it ;_;*

::edit:: Yoko Kanno did "Information High"? I didn't know that.

XD aww you're sweet. I liked the idea, but I long to re-do it. Maybe I will. *ponders*

and as for Desert Rose...Well, i did a windows update after telling you that, and apparently something in there helped movie maker, and i was able to convert again. So i converted it XD; i'll upload it when i get home (i'm at school) and PM you the link! ^_^

but I still can't get Windows Movie Maker 2 to work..;_; It refuses to let me use transitions or any kind of effect. If I even try to OPEN something with transitions, it shuts down.

I'm waiting to get some CDs so I can back everything up and format my computer.

.... I really need to finish the one I'm working on *slinks away* perhaps after we get setteled in the new place.

Does anyone know on the Window Movie Maker how you take clips from a dvd in your computer so you can make a music video?
