Hey! Let's all help each other find anime songs!

Post by Sailor X » Sat Jul 31, 2004 4:56 am

God, it's late.

I think we all are quite crazy about anime songs here, and I'm also pretty sure that we know what it feels like to trudge through internet in knee-length high-heeled galoshes looking for anime songs. (Martin Sargent moment there) So I was hoping that we could post the names of songs here and help each other out by showing each other where we might find them or sending them to each other. Whatever, I'm just tired of searching. I'll start.

I'm trying to find:

Dirty Pair Flash 3:
Kokoro de Mitsumeru (Gazing with the Heart)
Honki ni Shinaide (Don't Take it Seriously)

Blue Seed: Touch and Go!

Sakura Wars: Watashi no Aozora (My Blue Sky)

Arigato, guys.

You know, it's not as if you had to find my songs first or anything, you could have just ignored them if you had no idea where they could be found and posted some that you don't have. Just letting you know.

And you really don't have to be rude about it. Especially since Dan did just install the google feature. Use it, and nix the attitude.

I've had pretty good luck finding anime songs with WinMX. If you use it, I would strongly recommend signing up for a P2P account with Anime Fantasia - http://www.animefantasia.com/ - because they give good results. I did find "Touch and Go" and "Watashi no Aozora" listed.

I've also used Kazaa a couple of times, but I don't like it very much.

Also, once I found a pretty good list of anime music sites on some message board somewhere back in February (judging by the "Created" date of the Notepad file). Here they are: (Note: none of the comments are mine - they were posted with the link at the time).

http://www.angelfire.com/anime5/thenewf ... usics.html
Digimon music.

http://www.geocities.com/daimaodomon/su ... es/mp3.htm
A few random.

http://www.nijirain.com/Lady-music.htm
Lots of random music.

http://saki.tokyo-7.net/RecommendedMp3s.html
many mp3s including music from older series like To Heart, Excel Saga, City Hunter, Utena.

http://members.cox.net/brianxavier/pockybox/anime.html
Azumanga Daioh, Big O, Jubei Chan, Pita Ten, Rurouni Kenshin, Sailor Moon, Spiral, plus many more

http://vladanime.narod.ru/mp3.html
Ranma, Kimagure Orange Road, etc

http://www.nadesico.co.uk/Downloads/
Macross Plus, Evangelion, Outlaw Star, Saber Marionette J, Shamanic Princess, Video Girl Ai

http://mpu.static.net:7664/anime%20stuff/
Ayashi no Ceres, Cowboy Bebop, Inuyasha, Marmalade Boy, Weiss Kreuz, etc

http://www.tc.umn.edu/~anime/media.shtml
The Cat Returns (great music)

http://www.geocities.com/anime_kitchen1/music

http://kawaiikiwi.org/manganime/downloads.html

http://www.j-hero.com/plamocherid/music.htm
old school anime

http://www.anime-shuushuu.com/dance/

http://www.jamesanime.ch/
Lots of random music.

All of these sites are working as of right now (I just tested them all).

It's very lucky that I had the restraint to not answer this yesterday when I saw it. I wasn't trying to be rude. I don't even think I was rude. And what on earth did you think I was using to find the songs, sheer brainpower? That google feature should be lycos anyway. *is a lycos junkie*

ADMIN MODE: Lucky for you, yes. You're already borderline temp. ban right now, for copping ANOTHER attitude after a chibi-mod asked you to cool it. You came off as incredibly rude. And then you proceed to be sarcastic and a smartass with this comment: "And what on earth did you think I was using to find the songs, sheer brainpower? "

So, I'm going to do the honors of saying that you are warned.

Umm... I have a request. Does anyone know where I can get Setsuna's Prologue and poem? I keep trying WinMX, but it doesn't show up, and everytime I type it into a search engine I get either nothing, or files that don't play in Windows Media Player or winamp. I'd prefer ogg, but I'll live if it's MP3

Thank you <3

It's at the very bottom, there's no picture. Uranus's, Pluto's and Saturn's are one download, but small price to pay right? :D

Me: This is coming from the kid who doesn't know what Viagra is!
Ko: It's cold medicine, right?
Our Group: NO!!!

Dylan: Sure, it's no weirder than what normally comes out of your mouth.
Me: (says what)
Ko: .....What's that?
Me: ......*starts crying*
Carley: STEVE! STEVE GET OVER HERE AND TELL KO WHAT VIAGRA DOES!
Steve: See, it's like this: The bridge goes up and the soldiers rush out....

Anyone looking for any songs should go to www.Boxtorrents.com .
Under OST you will find many if not all you music needs. Please note that you need a bittorent download program and the files need to be seeded.

EDIT
Prolouge and poem download taken off. Can't have you guys eating up my transfer space, now can I? :D

There you go, I uploaded them to my server. Let me know when you're done downloading or if you have any problems playing (since I had a bit of trouble with extensions...*cough*) and I'll just upload them back, not a problem! Unfortunantly I can't test since this is my parents' computer (mine is being weird) and they'd (Read: my dad would) flip out if I downloaded Quissential to test.

XD I think that's my first glomp on these forums. If you ever need anything else that's in a ZIP file from sailormusic.net, just ask.

If anyone wants any Sailor Moon songs or music, these two links are really good:

This has all 10 cds from the Memorial music box

:second link is removed as the site appears to be down permanently:

So, I'm going to do the honors of saying that you are warned.
*drums fingers together again and sighs*

*looks to heaven* Oh, no she didn't. Oh, hell no...

This would have been okay with me if you hadn't had the nerve to insult me here, but now... *gets much more ghetto than usual* I will not allow myself to sit and take any shit from you and be meek and quiet about it, like I was last summer with that little comparison topic you locked. That Sailor X is long gone, out the door, and a new me is in place. You really chose the wrong person to fuck with.

Ignoring that insult for now, let me tell you once again that I wasn't trying to be rude. In fact, I'm trying not to be rude now, I truly am, but it's really not working. The only reason that I came off as rude is that my posts seem be be read as though "Any time now, Sailor X will go off." Well, I'm going off now, so watch carefully, since you've been waiting for it so long.

Going to the insult: Did you ever notice that, even with that comparison thing, with you dismissing the comparison I would have made as "homemade" and hurting my feelings, even with the thing with kpc-chan, when you had the nerve to tell me that you seemingly going out of the way to pick on my friend was "NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS", and even that day I was so pissed off and had little control over myself, I didn't ever insult you? I may have said that I thought you were wrong, repeatedly, but I didn't call you anything that other people have. Why? Because I don't know you, so I can't insult you, and you barely know me at all. You may know stuff about me, but you don't know me. Plus, if I had called you sarcastic and a smartass, you would have warned me, wouldn't you? But look who's talking about being a smartass, anyway...

And yeah, I know how sarcastic and smartassy I am. I really don't need you to tell me, when I already know it. This is the person who, on a school survey asking "What do you think your school needs most?" answered in the blank, "A wrecking ball." and turned it in. I'm very proud of my sarcasm. It helps to make me, me. But that dosen't dull the effect of your little bitchcraft-filled insult. That comment was actually supposed to be funny, but no...

And the "lucky for you" comment: Um, it ain't as if getting banned from here will destroy me, blow me into a million depressed pieces, knock me to a ground of horrid depression. (BIG SARCASM THERE, by the way, ) This forum isn't the center of my life, nor is it high on my priority list. If anyone has noticed how I don't show up as much here as I used to, it's not because I can't, but because I won't. This isn't the best forum in the world any damn way you twist it. *looks at Toonzone, then looks here* It ain't like being banned by the likes of you is gonna tear me down.

That didn't sound like I wanted it to, but it's basically what I needed to get off my chest. It's been there for over a year now.

I'm not even going to bother quoting all of that.

I'm also not going to bother picking apart every bit of untruth in your post.

Becuase I have problems in my life that are FAR bigger than the shit you're throwing at me, i'm kicking back, and doing what I think is best for both parties involved.

Consider yourself permanently banned. Good day, Sailor X.

For the record, Sailor X, the WHOLE staff discussed your little outburst last month and decided COLLECTIVELY that you were out of line. Tiff was just the one who ended up saying it to you, just like I'm that person sometimes, sometimes it's dan, sometimes it's parakiss etc etc. So to go off like that on Tiff was totally unfair and frankly, a bit immature.

Note to all members: We have a staff forum that regular members cannot see where we discuss issues like this. Usually we discuss courses of action before we actually take action. Thus, nobody in the staff is "out to get you". We are a collective unit and usually do things as such. Basically a post by one of us in Mod Mode is a post by all of us (the admins and chibi-mods).

Goodbye Sailor X.

Back on topic.

... Yeah you're real getto

Their was a third link I wanted to give, but forgot it. Well, found it so Here.

Okay, between these three links, you can get all the music from any Sailor Moon CD minus the musicals, live action show, and the studio library pieces. Enjoy! ^_^ (I know I have  )
