The Truth About Sailor Moon

I'm new to the community and have been a fan of Sailor Moon since it first aired in the states. However, my knowledge on the "real" Sailor Moon that aired in Japan is minimal and confusing to myself. I have heard the real Sailor Moon is akin to a pornography or hentai, I have heard the language is extremely explicit and so many other substances. Where I'm trying to get at is the truth from individuals who have seen the series RAW. What is it really like? Is there explicit language, excessive nudity and adult situations?

...um no. I don't know why people spread rumours like these (I'm not saying you're spreading rumours, I'm saying that there are other people who say these things) . In laiman's terms, the worst nudity would have to be the last episode where Usagi is completely naked, but that's no worse than a naked Barbie doll. The worst violence would have to be when Nefylite gets hit with those spears and dies. The worst language would have to be the occasional damn. And the worst sexual situation would have to be just Haruka and Michiru's comments in Stars, and even then it's "Haruka, you're to heavey" "I don't listen to that kind of talk outside of bed".

The Manga however, is a little different. I haven't read a lot of it, so I can't comment on it.

If anyone can come up with better examples, than help me out because I'm just exhausted right now @___@;

There's plenty of sites with information on the Japanese version. It would be better and more of use to you to go through those sites (many of them linked in the links section of this site) since they'll have much more information than you can hope to find in a forum thread. Sorry for seeming a bit of an ass after your first post, but you really should've gone out and looked for info since it's so easy to find info and such without having to always come on the forums and ask. It's just a waste of time since 9 times out of 10 you'll just be told to go check sites. As a matter of fact, it's a rule here since it's gotten out of hand.
