Favorite Sailor Moon Wand/Attack

her Eternal Tier attack during the Nehelenia part of Stars is Starlight Honeymoon Therapy Kiss. They just shortened the animation (only showing the end) and don't have her say the name.

I like it better shorter. The music's different, too, and that's a big plus. It seems more powerful that way.

Not quite. The animation is actually different from the full length version of Starlight Honeymoon therapy kiss, and it also appears in the opening credits.

In the "shortened" version (used in episode 168) the Kaleidoscope wand appears, and turns into the Eternal Tier, which floats around for a little, until Eternal Moon grabs onto it. She then looks into the camera, twirls around and goes into the final attack pose. Let me see if I can get some screen captures for you-

It's interesting to note the differences between the opening credits version and the one used in 168 - the major differences that I can pick out is that there is a "lace" effect used on the edges in the episode 168 version, and that the Eternal Tier first changes from the Kaleidoscope wand in an "upright" position, before floating in a slanted way before Eternal Moon catches it. This is not included in the opening credits version.

Now that you can see some screen captures from both the shorter and fuller length versions, you can note that they're actually quite different, rather than one being a shortened version of the other. They ended up changing the entire animation with the full length one, but I kind of wish they kept in the bit where Eternal Moon looks into the camera, becuase it was such a sweet and cute look. ^^

(Oh, and sorry for the blurry and cruddy image quality of the shortened versions - they're both from fansubs that I downloaded ages ago. The reason why the full length version is of much better quality is because it's from the sailor senshi page.)[/url]

My favourite weapon is the Moon Stick when, in the manga, it becomes long and stafflike. Personally I would have been happy if this was her only weapon for the entire series. It is very simple and queenly, and if it was good enough for Queen Serenity it should be good enough for Sailor Moon.

I think my favourite attack is the one she uses in S. I don't remember the name because I haven't seen the original anime, and I read the manga in French where every attack is called "Moon Stick, Attack Now!" and "Moon Twilight Flash!". I think it might have been Moon Spiral Heart Attack. Anyway, I liked the colours.

I think my favorite Sailor Moon weapon is the Cutie Moon Rod. I think the animation is pretty, and I agree with Tiff for saying that it fits her princess status. Plus, I like the music that goes with it. ¬_¬ lol

My favorite weapon was the Cutie Moon Rod, I even have the American version of it somewhere. As for attacks, I liked Moon Princess Halation the most. I guess I liked her stuff in R.

I thought for sure I had responded to this topic before but I guess not.

My favorite of Sailor Moon's weapons is the Cutie Moon Rod. I just really like the way it looks. It has this elegant feeling to it and I also have to agree that it fits Sailor Moon's princess status perfectly, especially with the crown on top of it. My favorite of Sailor Moon's attacks is a tie between Moon Princess Halation and Moon Gorgeous Meditation. Both attacks have really good animation and BGM in them which I like listening to over and over, so it's difficult for me to choose between them.

For Me arguably her best and coolest attack is definitely the MOON TIARA ACTION.

Because for one it's the first attack she used, second it has lots of uses it can both attack and defend, third it can be used to heal e.g. stardust magic etc., third she can control it in mid-air as it flies like in "krull" ain't that cool or what and lastly it is the most consistent weapon in her arsenal she used it practically in four seasons, now BEAT THAT!

no other attacks were that consistent. so with that I rest my case

I never paid much attention to the wands themselves. As far as attacks go... Moon Tiara Action was easily the most hardcore attack she ever had. It surprised the hell out of me to see it again in S after a 90-episode hiatus.

My least favorite is Moon Healing Halation. The sub translated it as Moon Healing Escalation, and it drove me crazy because I could never get "Moon Healing Escalation" out of what she says.

My favorite weapon of Sailor Moon's is definitely the Eternal Tier, with Chibi-Chibi in sword form as a close second.

As attacks go, though, it's a tie between Moon Princess Halation (for the harpsichord-sounding intro to the attack music) and Silver Moon Crystal Power Kiss (for the simplicity and the poses XD). However, I loved how she did Moon Tiara Action with the frozen pizza that one time in Stars, though darned if I can remember which episode it was XD

My favorite wands are the moon stick and the cutie moon rod.
Attacks: Moon princess halation: very elegant
Moon tiara action: gives me a nostalgic feeling and it's very practical
Rainbow moon heart ache: beautiful colors, great power, nice circus music
Silver Moon crystal power kiss: maybe a bit kitch, but I like it very much

correct me if i'm wrong but i beleive the attack's name IS moon healing escalation? maybe the one your thinking of is "moon princess halation" wich the sub incorrectly trasnlated as moon princess elimination which i think was a combo' of the dub & orig names for it.

hmm....personally i gotta agree with everyone who said that there fave attack is Cutie Moon Rod/ Moon Princess Halation ^_^ if you ever noticed, the first little bit of moon princess halation is used in a LOT of SM opening sequences from all around the world!! it's a very beautiful attack and kinda symbolizes everything about sailor moon which is a fighting princess ^_^ hehe, kinda' like Xena!

My favorite weapon is the one from the SuperS season. I just like the look of it.

My favorite attack in Moon Healing Escalation from the first season. I like the animation and especially the music, which kind of sounds either midevil or rennassaiance (Ok, I have no hope of spelling that word).

Moon Gorgeous Meditation and Moon Healing Escalation are great, whereas Moon Tiara Action is my fav attack.

My fav wand must be Sailor Moon's Eternal Tier. It just looks so pretty ^^

And to the Moon Healing Halation/Escalation thing: Kali is right, I guess, because that's what my sub says.

Hrmmm... That's a tough one coz i loved all of her wands and attacks... but i think out of all my favs the 2 that really stood out are probably Super Sailor Moon's Spiral Heart Moon Scepter for "Rainbow Moon Heart Ache!" coz the music is also awesome for that attack...

and also her Final Eternal Tier for the attack "Silver Moon Crystal Power Kiss!"... the music in this one is quite different to any usual Sailor Moon attack music and we also get to see a new improved "Holy Moon Chalice" combine with her Eternal Tier.
