Well, as far as age goes, I got all of you guys beat. I'm over 42 years old, and I like Bishojo Senshi Sailor Moon as well as other animes. I'm also a HUGE Star Trek fan and I like Sci-Fi too. Guess the Borg would say "Age is irrelevant. Gender is irrelevant. Ethnicity is irrelevant."

I'm writing this Sailor Moon/Green Lantern crossover AU fic called "Emerald Sunrise". It's a hybrid of Action/Adventure, Sci-Fi, Romance, and Comedy. It's about Ami (Sailor Mercury) getting a new boyfriend who just happens to be a member of The Green Lantern Corps. I'm also throwing in some other characters from other animes and some old Hanna-Barbera cartoons from the late '60's early '70's. I'm also illustrating it as well.

I have to agree with everyone on this.
You dont get too old for anime.
If you enjoy it then its perfectly fine.
Take what pleasures you can in life, and dont worry about what others tell you you're too old for, most of the time they dont know what their talking about.
Remember many adults consider comic books and video games kids toys, but they couldn't be any more wroing. Their not even mostly for kids. Their bought primarily by and produced for adults and teens.
Enjoy your sailor moon for as long as you like.
