Well I just got the album Gasshou Kumikyoku Sailor Moon. It's got selected themes from the show sung by a pop choir. I think it's put together really well. If anyone wants it lemme know and I'll see what I can do. I love it. In one of the tracks it even has Usagi saying her famous line....but somehow it doesn't sound like her anime VA.... It might be one of the Sera Myu Usagis....

I've heard some of those songs on MP3. It's neat, but kinda weird to hear it.

Heh yeah. I don't mean to promote this but that's how I got this album. I downloaded it. It's a rare CD I hear and it would be hard to obtain otherwise. Plus my parents would think I'm wasting my money on this. They don't understand the difference between anime and cartoons......

All my family think I'm insane to listen to 'A bunch of hyper Japanese people singing in high pitch', but what do they know? They all listen to dudes on drugs...

Anyways, some of my favourites are as follows:
1)The World Died Out- So haunting, I love what they did to the singer's voice. Uber cool.

2)Ai No Senshi- Very upbeat, so much better than 'She's got the power'. I've loved this song ever since I heard it...

3)La Soldier: I love the beginning, it's awesome. But if I listen very carefully during a certain point in the song, I can hear a little noise, that sounds like Mario jumping in a video game or something....

4)Otome No Policy- It's just so bouncy and hyper, I love it.

5)If it counts, I enjoy listening to the S game themes of Pluto, Venus and Neptune. Very cool indeed.
Mr. James : Lost a satellite on liftoff today.
Dave : Cost?
Mr. James : 10 million dollars.
Dave : Result?
Mr. James : Extreme set back.
Dave : Milk?
Mr. James : Spilled.
Dave : Gonna cry about it?
Mr. James : Not even.
Dave : I''m sitting on a rather sharp tack.
Mr. James : That's gotta hurt.
Dave : Well, life's a bitch...
Mr. James : ...And then you die.
Dave : My...
Mr. James : ...oh...
Dave : ...my.

To be honest, there aren't many Sailor Moon songs that I dislike. I can sort of tolerate some of the dub songs, when I think of them as separate and having nothing to do with Sailor Moon.

Like:

1) Luna!---I think it's a cute song. especially the meow part
2) Moonlight Destiny---very romantic song. seeing Mamoru and Usagi sitting together at the end of the S movie made me melt.
3) La Soldier---Now that's a battle song!
4) Eternal Melody---I love Rei's songs.
5) We Believe You---another song that just really gets you ready for action.

Dislike:

All dubs should just go under here....but I'll try to be nice.

1) I Wanna Be A Star---Aside from the English Theme song, this has got to be the dumbest waste of music. "Giving shows from east to west (with my Sailor Scouts!)" I ask you people, what song would include that?
2) Heart Moving---it's not something I hate, it's just something I take in doses.
3) Anything by Mamoru---he needs a little more practice singing and learning newer tunes.
4) Otome No Policy---anyother song i like, but can only take so long
5) Sanji no Yousei---I love children, just not repeatedly.

I have too much songs that I like. I'm just gonna list the ones that I'm think of right now.

Favorites:
Moonlight Densetsu - I love both versions. It's such a classic and after about 5 years of listening to it, I never got tired of it. I could almost memerize the lyrics. ^^;
Fire Soul Love - It is sung by the wonderful Tomizawa Michie and it's catchy.
La Soldier - It always reminds me of that final battle scene in the R season.
Fate is so Beautiful - I like the melody, it's so pretty. ^^
Tuxedo Mirage - Listening to it always makes me feel calm.

Least Favorites:
She's Got the Power - Listening to this makes my ears bleed. Need I say more?
Fly Me to the Moon - BORING!
I Want Someone to Love (Raw Remix) - At first, it was pretty catchy in a way. Now it just gets my nerves. -_-;
Only a Memory Away - The singer's voice bothers me for some reason...

1. Legendary Silver Crystal (I think that's the name of it, it's played in episode 34)

Wow ... this one is just amazing. It's haunting, beautiful and lovely. My Only Love is pretty good but in my opinion it simply can't compare to this.

2. Tuxedo Mirage

It's a nice song ... very pretty.

3. Moonlight Densetsu (DALI version)

It's absolutely adorable. I think the lyrics are so cute and I love the voice of the singer. The Moon Lips version is pretty good as well but I don't like it quite as much.

4. My Only Love

It's pretty and all ... I just don't like it as much as the original song used.

5. Princess Moon

I don't know. It's pretty.

Least Favorite:

Sailor Star Song

I know most people love this song, but I just don't like it. Moonlight Densetsu is so much better, and I even think the NA version is better than this. I don't know why I dislike the Sailor Star Song so much really, but it just sounds so ugly and annoying to me. I also find the lyrics to be really stupid.

Finally, someone else who doesn't like the Sailor Star Song! I never understood why people liked it. Well, to each his/her own.

Tiff wrote:Given the fact that the only Dub Song I remotely care for is "My Only Love", I'm not going to bother including dub songs.
Favorites:
1. Moonlight Dentsetsu - I love the beat, the song, the lyrics...it's just awesome. It's the original song, and I will always love it.
2. Golden Queen Galaxia - Galaxia's voice is beyond comparison, and her singing is even more intense. I get the chills everytime I hear this song. I also love the Orgel version.
3. Moon Revenge - I love how each of the senshi sing in this, and the beat is just great. I never get tired of singing this.
4. Rashiku Ikimasho (sp?) - So damn cute. "La la la Nevah Give Up, Gan Bara Wa!!" *_*
5. Sailor Team no Theme - Very intense, and yet cute at the same time.

Least Favorites (I don't have a lot, so this is really hard x_x;):
1. Kaze Ni Naratai - *shudder* I love Haruka's voice actress, but my god, the woman cannot sing a ballad to save her life. She can sing a great hard rock song (I have a few), but she cannot sing slow ballads. Blah.
2. Princess Moon - it's not horrid, but it can get REALLY old after a while, and it's kinda plain.
3. Morning Moon - Eh. It doesn't do anything for me.
4. You Are Just My Love - Mamoru's singing is a bit..odd..o_O;
5. Uranus and Neptune: Sera Myu - I don't know if that's the real name, but that's the MP3 name for it..it's just annoying.

I'm going to include background music, becuase I love background music XD but i'll only include my favorites:
1. Seiya's Love - the gorgeous music thatp lays when Seiya says "Am I Not Enough" to Usagi*sniff*
2. Luna - the music that plays throughout the S Movie. So lovely.
3. For the Princess - a low version of Sailor Stars Theme done on Violin..it's played throughout stars too
4. Orgel Golden Queen Galaxia - *_* Yum..
5. The music that plays when Haruka and Michiru hold hands in S. too bad you can't get it anywhere T_T
The Dead Moon Circus Theme is good.
Ok, So I like Neherenia, It don't mean I'm Wreid.

"To Err is human, But to really foul things up requires Supitd Teemmate" Frostinia, From My Fanfic, Sailor Moon Armageddon.

Ok i'm tired of having to tell you over and over. You need to read the rules. You've posted totally off-topic things, and you're posting without reading the first post. This topic asks for each poster to post five songs they like, and five they don't like. I never mentioned the dead moon circus, so why did you even quote my post? Read the rules.

Joey: The question is, Rachel, does he like you? ''Cuz if he doesn''t, then it''s all just a moo point.

offtopic: *looks at Tiff's post and nods at least a thousand times, getting a headache from all d_k's posts that showed a complete i-dont-care-about-what-the-mods-say attitude u_u;; saying I'm sorry once and not doing the right thing after that is a little stupid I think*

Ontopic: Stephen Victor, I've see this first one referred to as Maboroshi no Ginzuishou, just as the name of the silver crystal ^^ (I'm a fan of this one too. True, My Only Love is okay, but the original... it's just more moving cause the other one sounds so... typical-lovesong-that-gets-on-your-nerves-after-a-while!)

I don't mean to bash that song though :) I mean, I like it, but I do believe the original is much more powerful :P.

Other than that, I don't like any of the NA songs. And my japanese faves... whoah... I did like the two Mars songs (Fire Soule and Flame Sniper, having a tendency to prefer Flame Sniper cause it sounds a bit sexier :P)

My revised list:

Favorites:
1. Todokanu Omoi: My friend's love- I am so addicted to this song. The beat is so catchy. My family is sick of hearing it.
2. Moon Revenge- I love how the senshi take turns singing. It's incredible to watch it during the R movie, but good on its own too.
3. La Soldier- I don't have this song but recently found a download on sailormusic.net. I wish I had heard it earlier. It's so good.
4. Otome no Policy- It's great to sing to boost my spirits, like now when I'm taking finals.
5. Ai no Senshi- I'm so mad at Cloverway for dubbing this song. It was a disgrace, really.
6. (I had to sneak a 6th in here) "Rashiku" Ikimasho- So catchy and upbeat, I always want to dance when I listen to it.

Honorable mentions- Tuxedo Mirage, Watashi-tachi ni Naritakute, Princess Moon (I used to hate it, but had a change of heart), Suki to Itte, Star Light ni Kisu Shite, and Moonlight Densetsu. Wow, that's a lot. I like most of the songs. I'm saving up for the Memorial Box.

Hate:
1. Heart Moving- The worst ending theme ever. It's too classic sounding for me.
2.Nagareboshi e- I can't decide whether I hate this one more than Heart Moving or not. The chorus is the worst. If it weren't for the terrible chorus, I wouldn't mind it.
3. Sailor Star Song- The chorus, again, is the reason I hate it. The only thing I hate is the singer's voice goes too high during the chorus. She really sounds like she's straining.
4. She's Got the Power- I can't believe DIC replaced Ai no Senshi with this crap! Even worse than the Ai no Senshi dub Cloverway did.
6. I am Sailor Moon- I hate Mitsuishi Kotono's voice in this song. I like her other songs though.

I also hate all the dub songs except My Only Love.[/url]
I am a loser!

File this under Newbie sweeping up old posts he would have liked to have been in on:

Favorite songs (Vocals):

5: Star Light ni Kisu Shite
4: Motto Suteki na Asa ga Kuru yo
3: Eien no Melody
2: Moonlight Destiny
1: Kaze mo, Sora mo, Kitto

5: A lot of vocal power in this song, combined with the cutsie English phrases make this one a winner.
4: How can a voice that high be that melodious?! The note-leaps from "su" to "te" (and all corresponding in the other lines) are just awesome.
3: Now this is a Rei image song, and I wish we could have heard more of the soulful Tomizawa rather than Flame Sniper and Fire Soul Love. Oh, well, there's always Last Christmas. Also, this song was actually a plot point in the episode, so that's a plus.
2: So romantic, with note-leaps (I don't know what else to call them) rivaling Motto Suteki. . . . One complaint though--for the repeat of the chorus, it seems like the singer has to force in the "moonlight" notes. Were I writing the song, I would have doubled their length and cut the previous note short.
1: Aniticipating a lot of flak on this one, but it's my favorite. Not the slow TV one either, the CD version. The descending background notes on "jibun de iyou" can almost drive me to tears. Who says a guitar can't be romantic?

Favorite songs (Instrumentals):

5: The instrumental of Sanji no Yousei
4: Yumemiru Odango Atama--Track 48 on the Memorial Music Box
3: Tuxedo Mirage--S Music Fantasy
2: Double Henshin
1: Asa no Namikidou--The flute/piano part

5: This needs to come with a warning label that it WILL get stuck in your head.
4: Says "Happy Ending" so well without words.
3: Great song for slow dancing--If I only had a partner! *sniff*
2: Best saxophone solo. Ever. Anywhere.
1: Beautiful in its simplicity, this little question-and-answer piece is 131 seconds of catharsis.

Only one I don't really like is Toki wo Koete, Mamoru's image song. He sounds like he's trying to imitate Sammy Davis Jr, for cryin out loud! He wasn't nearly as bad on Dakishimitae Itai or You're Just My Love.

I have that Three Lights song "Search For Your Love" stuck in my head as of now.

Well, I like just about any Japanese Sailor Moon song and hate all the dub ones.

Every time I hear the second verse of that song, it makes me want to put on a puffy-shouldered dress and go ride a Ferris wheel, gazing wistfully to the side.

And yes, I'm male.

I like the opening theme to Sailor Stars (sorry but yes, I do!)

Ai no senshi! Rocks my socks!

As well as the theme music for Uranus and Neptune (hey! It's Vanessa Mae, can't go wrong there!!!

And yes, Moon Revenge made me work through all the shops in China Town to find that soundtrack!

However, can someone help me?

I know I am a major dork, but I really like the music they play when the Sailor Starlights are transforming!!!

Anyone have an MP3 or a title to that? I will love you forever!!!

0__o; how could I miss this topic? :whaps self with the baka stick:

Favorite:

1) Maboroshi no Ginzuishou-Silver Crystal
2) Moon Revenge
3) Kaze mo Sora mo Kitto
4) Moonlight Destiny
5) Flame Sniper

Why:
1) First time I heard this song I cryed because it's so beautiful T_T. When ever I'm upset, this song always makes me feel better.
2) T_T Another tear-jerker. This song is so powerful, especially when it's used during the scene in the R movie.
3) I like slow songs and this is one of my favorites. The ending scene with the Usagi puzzle is cute.
4) I just love the way the singer sings Moonlight Destiny with so much emotion.
5) I love Rei's songs. This is my favorite, although it scared the shite out of me the first time I heard it. (It was 11pm. I'm in my room with my window open. I downloaded this song and it took a while for it to play, so I continued to surf, when suddenly I heard this wind noise. I go to close the window and hear "Wait, are you the one..." I thought some one was outside my window until Rei goes "I'm Sailor Mars".)

Least:

1) You're Just My Love
2) Luna
3) Heart Moving
4) Somebody, Someday
5) She's Got the Power

Why:

1) It just wasn't as good as people said it was.
2) 0___o It started out cute, but by the end of the song, it just became really weird.
3) Blah, I couldn't even listen to the whole thing.
4) Same as above
5) Go I really need to explain this one ~_^

Just a couple of questions though.

-The Ballard version of Kaze mo Sora mo Kitto, was their ever a full length version like the more common version?

-Does anyone know why Saturn and Pluto's seiyuu's never record a single?

DurgaRea, I can send you the Sailor Starlights' transformation music on Mp3. I'll probably email it to you on Monday or so.

And as to why Pluto and Saturn don't have any songs, I don't know about Saturn, but in her stats it says that Pluto's least favorite subject is music, so maybe she's a bad singer and we wouldn't want to hear her singing!
