No, it wasn't meantfor Sailor Moon. Suga Baby is her DJ name.

It's a song from the Sera Myu Musicals...I think the Starlights sing it, but I could be wrong.

Okay, thanks. I haven't heard many songs from the musicals, that's why it didn't look familiar

I'm sorry. I thought it was for Sailor Moon. Take it off my list then!

the "Japanese version" of Oh Starry Night is "Eien no Melody" (Eternal Melody). I love that song too. All of Rei's songs are great :)

And yeah Who Do You Think You Are is from the last R episode, which was really a preview to S. I actually like that song. The end is amusing and cheezy.

Ai no Energy wo Ubaitore is pretty bad to me too. I usually listen to my Sailor Moon music when in bed and I bought a Sailor Moon album for the whole purpouse of Ai Kobata Moon Prism Power Makeup (another good one) on it. (I think it's In Another Dream, but I could be wrong) When I heard it at first, I thought of the Deam Moon Circus. When I heard the first line, (It sounded like Juuban on fire to me) I freaked out and went to the next song. Now whenever I hear it at night and can't find the "skip" button I hide under my sheets until it's over.

Me: This is coming from the kid who doesn't know what Viagra is!
Ko: It's cold medicine, right?
Our Group: NO!!!
Me: Can I just say?
Dylan: Sure, it's no weirder than what normally comes out of your mouth.
Me: (says what)
Ko: .....What's that?
Me: ......*starts crying*
Carley: STEVE! STEVE GET OVER HERE AND TELL KO WHAT VIAGRA DOES!
Steve: See, it's like this: The bridge goes up and the soldiers rush out....

Tiff: Aww, you killed someone for me. That's so sweet in a f***ed up sort of way!

I have to add Todokanu Omoi to my list. How could I have forgotten it? I'd put it at first or second of my favorites. The chorus is so addicting.

Unlike many people, it seems, I like both of the villain songs (Queen Beryl's and Sailor Galaxia's). What's weird is that my dad once danced with one of my dogs to the Queen Beryl song everyone else seems to hate. He thought it was dance music for some reason, I guess.

FAVORITES:

- Prince of the Earth (from the Ryuusei Densetstu Myu): I love this Mamoru's voice. I wish this song would just go on forever.

- Moon Revenge: Durr, it's Peach Hips.

- Sailor Team no Theme: Basically, I like this for the same reasons some others have listed. It made the scene it was used in.

- Yumemiru Dakeja Dame: I like it because it seems high-spirited and ummm.. fun.

- It's a New Day (avoids hurling rocks): I HATE the dub, but I like this song. It seems very Sailor Moon-ish, somehow. I don't know, maybe I've been corrupted, maybe it's something in the water, but I like it.

LEAST FAVORITES:

- Double Moonlight Romance (I think it's originally from the 3rd Myu): CHEESY!

- North American Theme Remix (on Full Moon Collection): She is the one named Sailor Moon, She is the one.. She is the one... She is the one... Sailor Venus...Sailor Merc- She is the one.... (-_-)

- Initial U: EW! This song is just weird-sounding.

- Kaze ni Naritai: I like Uranus, but I don't like it when Ogata Megumi sounds... sultry.

- Nagareboshi He: It's a shame they use this so much. It's a really bad song.

*CRACKS UP* My god, your description of the North American Remix is so hilarious. Woo...
As for Kaze Ni Naritai, I totally agree. It's just...horrid. Ogata-san should NOT sing ballads.
And as for Nagareboshi He... I like the song, but what I hate is how often you heard it x_x

I'm not too crazy about Kaze ni Naritai myself. Not just her voice, but it tried to sound too sweet or something. Initial U is okay but I got tired of it. I like Kaze ni Naru much better, which has a similar melody. It's on one of Megumi Ogata's CDs, not and BSSM CD but she's supposed to be singing it as Haruka.

Though this may get this topic closed does anyone here know here know where I can download tracks from the Sailor Moon Memorial Song and Memorial Music Box sets? I'd buy em but I'm pretty short on cash right now... Sailormusic.net has them but it takes too long to DL from there.... Anywho thanks in advance.

This is hard… I love the music of Sailor Moon. It encompasses so many genres, there's something for almost any taste in music, and since I'm very eclectic I appreciate that quite a bit.

Favorites (not in any particular order):
1) "We Believe You" -I love the tempo, and I love Makoto's voice in this song.
2) "Ai no Megami" -There's something about Minako's voice in this song… it just makes me want to sing. Which may or may not be a good thing. ^_^;
3) "Golden Queen Galaxia" -God I love that voice! It's so perfect for this song!
4) "Honoo no Sogekimono" -I just love the feel of this song, and the lyrics are so catchy.
5) "Ai no Energy wo Ubae" -It's so strange and creepy. I like that.

Least Favorites (not in any particular order):
1) "Ashita mo Mata Jitensha" -I don't know… it's just too soft for me.
2) "She's Got the Power" -I can't stand to listen to this song all the way through. It's just wrong on so many levels.
3) "Yume wo Ijimenaide" -Hyper overload… must eat something salty to drown this sugary taste in my mouth.
4) "Kazi ni Naritai" -As several others have mentioned, that voice is just wrong for this type of song.
5) "Sunshine Moonlight" -I don't hate it, I just don't like it very much. I could soft-shoe to this music pretty damn well though…
NameGoesHere - Now made with 100% more ingredients.

This is odd, I actually like Kaze Ni Naritai. I got permission to have it play during a poem I read for a drama class play once. I think it's a pretty song, and, yes, I take back what I said about the slow songs. I'm really not sure what my least favorites are, actually. Maybe Setsunaiikutei (sp?) because I could barely hear the lyrics. Speaking of that song, is that Venus or Pluto's song? I've seen it listed as a Venus song in some places, and then the place I downloaded it from said it was Sailor Pluto's image song. Or does she not have an image song, which is strangely appropriate since in all the stats about her it says that Music is her least favorite subject. Maybe she'd be a bad singer? (sorry to offend the Pluto fans...there's other things to be good at than music!)

Setsunakuteii is Venus' R single, I didn't like it too much either :? . Moon and the inners each have two R songs. A "single" and an image song. Venus' image song is Route Venus. One of my favorites.

Pluto and Saturn don't have image songs. They have songs from the musicals though. The closest thing to image songs in the anime are the music from Stars that appear in their poems. Saturn has "Sai Rai" and Pluto has "Garnet Guardian". I love both of those pieces but I wish they had songs.

If their VAs couldn't sing, they should've gotten someone else to sing them. Like Haruka's Stars song Initial U. Megumi O didnt sing that for some reason

Love-Love
  • Rashiku Ikimasho - So bouncy ^^
Otome no Policy - SOOOO bouncy ^^;; and the lyrics make me giggle. "Young ladies, plunge into the pit!"
Kaze ni Naritai - ;_; I like it.
Unmei wa Utsukushiku - all Neptuney. Catchy, too.
I am Sailormoon! - I like the phunky beat.
Please Die Soon
  • Daddy's Girl - ...this song makes me physically ill. I'm 85% sure this is a song found on one of the dub CDs, becuase it's in the description, but then again I've never bought the NA CDs.
    Makenai! Stars Op - SHUT UP. SHUT UP. This grates on my nerves sooooo badly. ><;
