Yeah, it was hilarious how she was saying stuff like"ok...so how is this outfit good for battle in any way?", and then she began having 'support' issues.

Since IllWillPress was mentioned and acceptable as a SM sighting, I have one from a PPG online webcomic that I just started reading.

And really, why shouldn't we be afraid? In case you haven't heard, life is terminal. Cigarettes will kill you. So will your cellphone. Your car is a deadly weapon and alcohol is a quiet killer. Don't lick the lead-based paint on the walls. Don't lick the back of a postage stamp and certainly don't lick any strangers! That will bring you down quickly indeed. Don't drink the water but don't drink less than eight glasses a day. Your enviroment is toxic, your natural resources are dwindling, your days are numbered, but what ever you do, don't panic! The stress, don't you know, will kill you.

In an episode of Royal Canadian Air Farce, they did a spoof of Sailor Moon. It was really long ago and I don't remember how it went, but it was something with two guys wearing Sailor outifts and mooning the audience or something (sorry, I wish I knew what episode it was ^_^; )

I found a comic called "Queen of Wands" through the strip in Tiff's sig having crossovers into QoW. Anywho, this strip shows Batman and Robin doing a transformation a la Sailor Moon and Sailor Chibi Moon. I thought it was absolutely hilarious!

Sailormoon on Street Smarts.....well, sorta

Post by lightcat » Fri Nov 19, 2004 5:47 am

On the TV game show Street Smarts, contestants build up a bank (by predicting whether three people answered questions right or wrong) and wager it in a Final Jeopardy style round called the Wager of Death.

The Wager of Death question: "Who or what is Sailor Moon?"

The show's host said: "They all 3 knew it. I did not know that. I had never heard of it".

In the first episode of Cutey Honey Flash, there's a panning shot of girls cheering.

And one of the girls looks kinda like Unazuki. (Motoki's sister):

Unazuki in Cutey Honey?

She also looks somewhat like Makoto, and <insert generic anime girl here> . . . that one, I think, is a coincidence.

In episode four of Tokyo Mew Mew, Masaya and Ichigo are at a carnival and Masaya asks her what she wants to see. As she's looking around at the various attractions, you can see a blonde- haired girl on a stage wearing a very familiar sailor fuku with a very familiar hairstyle and pose....

On an anime OVA called "Galaxy Fraulien Yuna/Returns", there's a girl with lavender hair named Polylina who appears to save Yuna. She has a mask like Sailor V, an outfit slightly similar to Sailor V, and a bionic white kitty similar to Artemis.

In one recent episode of Pokemon, Musashi (Jessie) and Kojiro (James) both dress up in Tuxedos, with 'Sailor V' masks on, with a moon in the background too, during their motto.

I forgot what episode it was, I think the one with the 'Masked Trainer' or something..

DreamEmpress wrote:It took me a while to find this. In the Archie Digest Magazine number 193 there is a Betty and Veronica story called Star Struck. in it they are head over heels for an Astronomer named....Maxfield Standin!!! He wears a white blazer with a blue shirt and has long thick brown wavy hair. Remind you of anyone? and get this...his wife is named Molly and she had her hair tied back with a bow. It's not as red and wavy as Naru's but still..... Is this just crazy or what?

I know it's not sailor moon herself, but it's still from the series and I just had to share it.
I remember that! lol
There's another Archie comic (sorry, I don't know the issue) where Betty learns that Jughead is into Manga and reads such manga as: Tragic Night Sayearth and Sailor Lunar.

And in the Manga Sabrina series Halloween issue, one of the party-goers is dressed as Sailor Moon.
