I believed Usagi was an absolute IDIOT.
I believed Rei was the BIGGEST bitch EVER.
I believed there really was a 'Negaverse'.
I believed Zoisite was a woman despite the flat chest I noticed.
I believed Minako was older than the other girls( that's how her first VA sounded).
I believed Luna was British.
I believed the senshi were kidnapped in 'Day of Destiny'
I believed that Haruka and Michiru REALLY were cousins( because me and my cousin are as close as AMARA and MICHELLE were).
I believed Fisheye was a woman( I STILL can't believe he's a man).
I believed Zirconia was a man( I couldn't really TELL what gender Zirconia was).
I believed Peagasus was really old( once again VA).

The dub made me feel like an idiot. I CAN'T believe I used to go by that stuff as being the original. I stupidly thought that anime didn't get edited and was just translated.

Heh...Heh...When I watched the SS dub, I used to seriously think that Zirconia was like...Some retarded offspring of Yoda. But who could blame me?? xD;

I was confused in SuperS dub because they showed Fish Eye without a shirt in the model episode. I thought only Usagi is alowed to be completely naked outside of transforming.

Oh boy...

-I thought Luna and Artemis' genders were reversed. I just always assumed black was a masculine color and white was feminine...

-I thought the Inner's were like... 20 somethings...

-I thougt Minako and Usagi were sisters...

-I thought Tenchi Muyo and Sailor Moon were the same show... (Don't ask...)

huh, you know, I never thought of that. But now that you mention it...I wonder why the colors are the way they are.

Because that's the way Naoko drew them. I really don't think thier is any specific reason that they are the colors they are. Just two colors that people pair together. As for black being a masculine color: What about the little black dress?

I was also a little confused on this point because Artemis is a girl's name.

Be careful with this one, there is a bit of a pun involved. Dr. Spooner described his visit to a castle: "In the center of the fortress was the Palace Court. The gated entrance to this area was the court palace."

I was neither taking it seriously or literally. If I was I wouldn't have replied with a two sentence just because answer. I would have put more effort in the answer if I was taking it seriously.

Gotcha. ^_^ I was just hoping you realized that I KNEW it was simply artist's concept, and nothing more. No problems!

Hehe,

Well I was probably about 4 or 5 when I first saw Sailor Moon so take it as a childs imaginations. It sure would make an interesting Ranma-style fanfic though... hmmm... :D

I thought Sailor Moon was a show like the Powerpuff Girls that had no story and a different bad guy attacked each time. Then I saw the episode where Rubeus's ship comes down and Rini has a flashback of seeing the girls transform and I'm like "Hey! That was in yesterday's episode!" then i followed it better.

I also thought Luna was a duck.
No, just kidding.

That the Sailor Scouts and Prince Darien weren't reincarnated in the distant future just sent to earth in the distant future with amenesia and all of them adopted. (the scene in the R movie and the scene in Crystal Clear Destiny confused the hell out of me at first)

Serena and Raye fought alot

Game Machine Joe really did give away the prizes he won to poor kids. (in the original anime he was kind of a jerk)

Tuxedo Mask was killed by touching the starlocket in day of destiny.

Zoycite was a woman

Fish-eye was a woman

Zirconia was a man

And I would like to gloat that I never did believe that the Sailor Scouts were captured by the Negaverse. I always thought they died just not quite the way it was in the original. I assumed Negaverse was some form of hell that all the bad guys went to and the Doom and Gloom girls took the Scouts with them when they were destroyed. And add to the fact that when they appeared to hell the Princess there bodies are transparent and later in the Sailor Says segment you can clearly see their ghost so yeah. And I also didn't buy the cousin bit in S. I never thought we were suppose to buy it. I thought that they meant that they had known each other for so long and were so close they were like cousins. Didn't know they were lovers though.

What did I believe? That it was a badly written and acted out cartoon from North America. It was only until I got the box set of the first season, that I watched the original. So I was excited to see what the original was like.
A lot of it surprised me- the script more so than anything else.

I stopped watching half way through the third season, that's when the dubbed voices really started to bother me, and so I just decided to finish watching the season with the subbed episodes.
I reject your reality, and substitute my own. Adam Savage.

Adam: I think this is the strangest position I''ve ever been in on this show.
Kari: [quietly] Notice how he qualifies it with "on this show".

all you have to do to make people not know who you are is to make your skirt shorter and wear some jewelry and go go boots.

Wait thats not just in the dub ::

I always thought 'Serena' was a slut, the dub made her sound like she wanted to jump on every attractive guy.

I also believed 'Rini' really was 'Serena's' daugther leading me to believe her and 'Darien' had had sex at a young age -_-

And it made me think magic was real ;_;

Um..I was being sarcastic? As in..pretending to be appalled/amazed that magic isn't real? I really don't get what else there is to explain ^^;
