If DiC dubbed ALL of Sailor Moon

Season 2.1 - The Doom Tree which came from the Negaverse

Technically, the tree didn't come from the Negaverse. Luna, etc. only assumed it was from the Negaverse when it first showed up. However, the tree itself never said where it came from. Alan and Ann did mention in passing that "Queen Beryl was right (about the amount of energy)," but never said they worked for her. I think it was okay for Luna, etc. to think that it was from the Negaverse, tho, becuase it was their first badguy. Wouldn't you then get nervous anytime a new evil that sucked energy popped up?

Season 2.2 - The Negamoon

Yeah, I'm not sure what's up with that. DiC only changed their name, tho, they didn't tie them to the Negaverse. It was sort of aptly named (not as apt as Black Moon, of course) since it was the "negative" of the Moon family.
I think they would change Death Busters to Doom Busters (since it seems to be the pattern), and call the Dead Moon Circus the...Negacircus. That's one I could see them doing. Or Wicked Moon Circus. I also think DiC would go with "Sailor Tin Kitty" (that's what I call her because I can't pronouce Nyanko correctly).

I was basically pointing out they overused Nega, that's all, but I did tie everyone to the Negaverse in my overexaggeration of what would happen if DIC got rights.

Please don't even tease anyone like this. DiC getting anymore of Sailor Moon after SMR is the most horrible thing in the world I could ever think of. I only thank the gods it left their hands after this.

I think it's funny how everyone would hate DiC even more for dubbing Sailor Moon, when they themselves don't do much of the dubbing at all. All the horrible writing and voice acting (if you can call it that with some of the actresses in that series) are done by Optimum throughout each and every English Sailor Moon episode or movie. So don't blame DiC for bad writing, voice acting, or name changes..blame Optimum. They gave us the bad scripts and acting. They're the REAL enemies.

I agree with you guys completely. Everything would be renamed with 'nega' in it somehow. All death scenes and 'inappropriate' scenes will be cut without a trace. Another possibility with Stars is that they could make the Starlights tomboyish girls the entire time, rather than being guys that change into girls. But then that would screw things up because that would make Usagi and Seiya's relationship a lesbian one, and heaven forbid! Children must not see that! If the Starlights were girls the whole time, then all traces of their relationship would be dropped.

Also, if DiC went for the whole 'twin' idea, then they might as well cut the entire airplane scene.

All I can say is... x_x and I never want to see a dub of Stars.

When 'Serena' asks 'Catzi' where she came from, Catzi replied 'From the Dark Moon of the Negaverse'. Also in the first episodes of the Black Moon Arc, the name 'Negamoon' wasn't used. It was 'Dark Moon' in the first R episodes, it wasn't until the 'Lost Episodes' that Negamoon was used.

I would actually LOVE to see them dub Stars...I mean, can't you just imagine the utter hilarity:

The three lights would all have a twin sister that they must summon from the alternate universe in which they switch places with while they are on earth fighting to fill the hole in the space-time continuim so nothing gets messed up and it doesn't create a black hole that vaccumm's up all earth's cheesecake so that the Sailor Scouts won't starve thus not allowing them to protect the weakling humans from that evil Queen Galaxia person from stealing the energy diamonds from the people's heads that transported out through their brain because they'd been studying the misteries of the universe too hard while Serena was crying too loudly thus cracking the sky and letting black lightning to seap through the respective cracks thus making Serena pick up a big butter knife made of plastic because its a toy and real swords are bad kids! And transforming into her all-new flesh-colored sailor scout uniform complete with wings and the crystal in the place of her locket and then saying "pretty please miss could you stop being a bad girl and fly away with those wings of yours?""No, I like your style so I'll join you in your fight with the new flesh-colored sailor scout outfits since your the only one left since all the others got captured by the NEGAVERSE back in the past in which we must use the powers of your magical wings to travel through time and rescue them from the NEGAVERSE!""WICKED COOL IDEA NEW SCOUT!". Then they teleport while the Starlights sisters find their princess who was actually their old highschool teacher and uranus and Neptune see Sailor Moon and the new sailor scout flying through the sky to the past because they came back from the past for a few hours just to look into the sky for a bit while the NEGAVERSE was on a breif coffee break which thus caused the baby Hotaru to grow up in a second or two and then they drovw back so they could be there for the arrival of the new sailor team - Moon and Galaxia - because they just couldn't wait to see the new SCOUT and SERENA in their all-new WICKED COOL SAILOR OUTFITS! And to double check so that they wouldn't get CITED BY THE FASHION COPS!

And then all the kids in America wait for the all new Sailor Moon series to come that never will because "Sailor Moon - Battle through time!" doesn't exsist...ohh well, its not like finishing a series matters is it!?!?

Ah. It's been a while since I've seen the dub, so I forgot that line. The same with Catzi's line. I stand corrected, all baddies are indeed from the Negaverse.

Ah. It's been a while since I've seen the dub, so I forgot that line. The same with Catzi's line. I stand corrected, all baddies are indeed from the Negaverse.

I'd chalk that one up to Raye assuming they were from the Negaverse, which, like I said earlier, was resonable. Anytime one of "Scouts" says something about the enemy being from the Negaverse, I chalk it up to their own ignorance of the new enemy.

Okay, another thing DiC would do is they would play "Shes Got The Power" in place of Ai No Senshi in the S episode where Haruka and Michiru drive Usagi to Tokyo Tower and they all fight Kalonite there, just like in the R episode when the senshi were battling the Four Phantom Sisters.

BWAHAHAHA!!! That's so incongruent, I'd find it funny! "She's Got the Power" fit more in the R season battle since it's a battle song, but Usagi's not battling when "Ai no Senshi" plays in the S season, so that would just be weird.

I think the series would have turned out better. Yes, the S season and the movies would have seriously been edited, but so what? The voice acting would have been perfect and it would have been very consistent. We would also have less episodes though. The only thing I am not sure of is if we would have gotten uncut DVDS.

..Um. Yeah. I'm gonna have to agree here.

I find it kind of odd for a "#1 Sailor Moon Fan" to say "who cares if they chop up the episodes! =D As long as the voices are great!!"

What good are great voices without good plot, accurate storylines, and development?
