I've just got two questions about the new manga:

1) We already know that the stickers are only in the first printings, but are the coloured drawings and coloured pictures from the art books in later printings?

2) How long would these first printings last until they were no longer in stores. Volume 12 comes out July 23, would I still be able to get it in Tokyo on, say, August 8-9 (the days I'll be in Tokyo and damn it, I want at least one set of stickers T_T).

Well I only own volumes one and two, but in volume one the color is in a few pages from the artbook, the VERY first page of the manga and the table of contents. In book two, it's the same except the first page of the manga isn't colored.

Maybe they'll color the very last page of the manga too?

The cover for volume 12 is so pretty. I'm definatly going to be buying this volume.

I agree with what was said. I like the cover, but I don't like all the white or how it breaks the theme of the rest of the covers.

Actually, that second pic (it's gone now) showed a little more detail, and it doesn't look all white. Still, I wanted something more flashy.

I was a little disappointed with the mangas I bought at Animethon because they didn't come with the plastic protective covers they came with when I ordered the others online

Please don't say that this is just me being delirious, because I swear the added more acts in the reprint manga. I don't mean NEW acts, I mean they split them up more. From what I've seen (I own volumes 1-10) they split the original Act 33 into five or six different parts. (I'm not sure about any other acts) Volume 10 is the end of SuperS, and the last act in the book is Act 49, but in the original volumes Act 49 is Stars 7 @.@ Why did they do this? I'm not complaining about it, it just seems really odd to me that they would do this.

I've just noticed that my number three is the only second edition manga that didn't have raised logos on the front cover. Number two and all of the later manga have raised logos. It's weird. I'm not sure why they were inconsistant like that.

T_T I just had to leave Japan on the 22nd. Couldn't wait until this came out.

I see it fine. It has the little Genvid advert screen, but if you scroll down, in the thread, the pictures are in the posts.

I just bought Vol.12 at my local Japanese bookstore. The cover is so nice and smooth! The ending is really really beautiful. I really want it to be animated just so I can see it in all its awesomeness along with music.

Anyway, to answer someone's questions about the stickers and the colored artwork in later printings. I bought it just today October 16 so I'm sure it's not the first printing. It still includes all of the original extras: colored sticks, colored pages, embossed cover, and even the ad strip. So no worries there!

And for those wondering, the cover is not glossy like the old edition. It's smooth. If you have the Japanese versions of Shin Vampire Miyu, then the quality is the exact same as that.
