PGSM Manga

im urged badly to buy this. amazon.co.jp has it, but im not sure i will buy it yet. i got a new checking account and i want to raise it a little higher before buying things. has anyone bought it yet? if youve visited genvid.com, it has all the differences.....and it makes me want it even more...even tho i cant read it v.v

You said PGSM, which I assume to mean "Pretty Gaurdian Sailor Moon", which is the name of the new live action show.
I have heard no news of there being a manga to go with it.
Therefore, I ask again: "There's a manga?"
If you were referring to the original BSSM manga, then say BSSM, and not PGSM, as that leads to confusion.

As you all know, the old BSSM manga will be re-issued as deluxe editions with colored pages, art touch-ups, stickers, edits, and more! There will be 12 volumes total and the manga is called:

Bishoujo Senshi Sailormoon
Pretty Guardian Sailormoon

Some attack names in there have been changed, and some attack names match those in the PGSM drama.

So now you know!

The reason he said PGSM is because on the covers of the new manga, the english title says "Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon." So, the new manga is PGSM, too. Genvid has some pics from it. Here's the link:PGSM Manga Pics Hope that helps!

NOTE: For everyone who's seen the cover of the second manga, does it look like fan art to you? It just doesn't look like Naoko-sama's artwork to me. It looks like fanart.

Hmm...Tokyopop might not release this one....someone said that a new company just started in America and that it's the American version of Kodansha and maybe that company will translate it?

And no, the second manga cover is drawn by Takeuchi Naoko. She even had a sketch of (available at the site below) of Sailor Mercury in her first fuku. I have no idea why in the world she would have the Eternal fuku when it's only the second volume. But her transparent puffy sleeves look cool. And the water!

It's possible, but Tokyopop have the rights to release the Sailor Moon manga in the US, and even if that doesn't explicitly cover the new version, I expect it's far-reaching enough that it wouldn't be possible for a totally different company to get the rights, even if they are part of Kodansha. I could very well be wrong though.

Probably so they match across all the volumes (it's either that or have whoever's on the last volume wearing their fuku from right at the beginning). Then again, Sailor Moon didn't have her wings on the new vol 1 cover

I think I will get this. I haven't got all of the BSSM manga, yet; so I might as well just start with PGSM. The fact that it's in Japanese doesn't bother me- I've got to learn, someday, ne?

but it does say Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon...anyway, so i might buy them next month ^.^ cant wait. i like their eternal forms anyway, cant wait for jupiter *drools*...will someone get me towel...?

Personally, I'd settle for a Tokyopop retranslation of the original. This... well, even if it does come out in the US, it's still been redone to coincide with the new series, so it's not entirely the same thing. I'd be tempted to get it though if the translation is well done and we get the extras.
