Does anyone know the answer to the riddle that Sailor Iron Mouse puts to Galaxia to try to save herself in the Stars series ?
The Riddle : A pig chef and a horse chef compete at making Tonkatsu. Which chef wins ?
I know that Tonkatsu is Tongue but I am curious to know the answer.

I think it's that they both win. I'm not sure, but I think there are two different phrases that both mean "delicious" and one means "horse chef wins" and the other means "pig chef wins." The full answer can be found at a site called "Makenai" that's all about SailorStars, and I don't have a link for it with me, though.

What I remember that it's a Catch-22 question that is unanswerable. It relies heavily on puns... but I don't know more details beyond that.
The important thing is Iron Mouse uses it because it is unanswerable in a vain, desparate attempt to save her neck.

Found the site Rainbow mentioned. This comes from them via VKLL:

Iron Mouse's riddle: "A pig chef and a horse chef compete with their skills at making Tonkatsu... which chef wins?" This riddle has no answer, as Tonkatsu, "deep fried pork", also means "pig wins". If the dish tastes good, most people say "uma katta" (good/tasty), but this also means "horse wins"
You seem like the kind of person who'll lie.
However... this sword doesn't lie.

DO you have the URL to that site? I am just loving Sailor Stars, some of the episodes are just too damn funny, they are too much fun for my own good.Rainbow wrote:I think it's that they both win.
