Ami-chan's First Love
I watched Ami-chan's First Love today, as well as the SuperS specials! I absolutely loved them! They were so cool! I really wish that the SuperS series was like the SuperS specials. They were really good. Cute, yet good. And they had the Outer Senshi. My two new favourite lines are from the specials. "A world without Haruka is hardly worth saving" and "SERA SPECIARU GYARIKKU ATTACK!" Has anyone else seen the specials, and if so, what did you think of them?

I have the Ami SuperS special in low-quality raw format that I found on the internet ages ago. I also used to have a fandum on real media, but the background music overpowered the voicing and it gave me a headache. ;_;
As for the other specials, I've yet to see them.

And really, why shouldn't we be afraid? In case you haven't heard, life is terminal. Cigarettes will kill you. So will your cellphone. Your car is a deadly weapon and alcohol is a quiet killer. Don't lick the lead-based paint on the walls. Don't lick the back of a postage stamp and certainly don't lick any strangers! That will bring you down quickly indeed. Don't drink the water but don't drink less than eight glasses a day. Your enviroment is toxic, your natural resources are dwindling, your days are numbered, but what ever you do, don't panic! The stress, don't you know, will kill you.

I love Ami's First Love, it absolutely cracks me up. "L-l-l-l-l-love letter!" I've seen the specials once, but I cannot find them anywhere to download again ;_;.

I've seen Ami's First Love and even have it burned onto cd. It's one of those crappy RealMedia files (fansubbed), but I like it quite well. It's really cute, funny, has good animation, and I love Ami's new transformation sequence. I wish that Pioneer had licensed it as well as the other Supers specials, but sadly they didn't. I still haven't seen the other Supers specials yet, but would like to one day. Particulary the one with Sailor Uranus and Sailor Neptune in it.

I borrowed them on VHS, and the quality is surprisingly good. Better than my SMC box set. I borrowed them from this girl I know. Her dad is a huge anime fan, and she really likes Sailor Moon. So her dad bought her a VKLL fansub tape with Ami-chan's First Love and the three SuperS specials, as well as an interview with the staff for AFL. She mentioned it to me the other day when she saw my SMC Box Set (I let a friend borrowed it, and she saw me with it). Now, I'm going to hook up a second VCR to my TV, so I can record it! Yay! I'm so happy!

I didn't like Ami's First Love... save the animation sequences for Mercury Aqua Mirage and her transformation. Other than that it was really boring. Too bad Rei and Minako's manga battle exam chapter wasn't animated. I thought it was the best out of the three and funny too.
My favorite special was the one with Sailor Special Garlic Attack because it was pretty funny (also based on a manga extra). The Uranus and Neptune special was alright. But I don't think I would've cared much if I didn't like those two. The flashback special with Usagi telling what happened before Chibi-Usa appeared, etc was ok for what it was.

I watched the Ami special in really bad realmedia form online once. I downloaded the version someone pointed me to here, but I haven't gotten around to watching it yet.
They should have animated all the exam battles, though. I would have liked to see Jupiter Coconut Cyclone animated...

I watched Ami-chan's First Love a few years ago when I was looking for a download of it online. It's very cute, and the animation was really nice. I want to buy a fansub one day, I just haven't got around to it yet.
I haven't seen the other specials yet, but I would like to.

I have the RealPlayer fansub, and really like it. It's the only one of the Exam Battles that I like, actually. I think it's pretty funny, and you get to see Usagi wearing glasses near the end! (I have a fanfic where I had her get glasses, so it was almost like it came on the REAL show and not just in my imagination!)

I LOVE Ami-chan no Hatsukoi. It's such a cute, funny special. If only the the SuperS tv series and movie was like that...
The SuperS specials I found okay. The only one that stood to for me was the last one because it was so funny. SAILOR SPECIAL GARLIC ATTACK! =D And of course, the explanation about vampires with Rei and Minako was cracked me up the first time I saw it (as well as Tuxedo Kamen telling Sailormoon not to put his money on Korean BQ to waste).

I really liked Ami Chan's First Love. I own it on VHS that I got off Ebay. It has 3 extra specials, plus an interview the makers of the First Love special.
That's not fair. Instead of outcasting Haruka and Michiru by giving them only one special for one entire season, they should've included them throughout the SuperS season. It would've been more popular.

I really liked "Ami's First Love" (pretty obvious from my screen name). The SuperS Specials were fun too, especially Chibi-Usa's Vampire story. The dummy in Haruka and Michiru's story was freaky. I also liked the connecting sequences with Usagi, Luna and Chibi-Usa when Chibi-Usa asked Luna how Usagi became Sailor Moon, and Usagi is waving her hand and saying "No! Don't tell that story!"
I LOVED the one special I saw (Ami's First Love) but I've only seen a clip of the vampire one (Sailor Special Garlic Attack, I love it!) and I've only read about the return of ruka and michiu and usagi's diary. (too lazy to use the caps key anymore) i really wanna see the other three!
Me: This is coming from the kid who doesn't know what Viagra is!
Ko: It's cold medicine, right?
Our Group: NO!!!
Me: Can I just say?
Dylan: Sure, it's no weirder than what normally comes out of your mouth.
Me: (says what)
Ko: .....What's that?
Me: ......*starts crying*
Carley: STEVE! STEVE GET OVER HERE AND TELL KO WHAT VIAGRA DOES!
Steve: See, it's like this: The bridge goes up and the soldiers rush out....
Tiff: Aww, you killed someone for me. That's so sweet in a f***ed up sort of way!
I have them all on fansubbed tape, and I enjoy each one. I watch them simply for what they are: random humor. Ami-Chan no Hatsukoi really makes me giggle, becuase whenever Ami gets all silly and embarrassed, it amuses me.
The vampire special is..odd..but the garlic attack gets me cracking up every time.
The outers special could have been a bit better, but Haruka's flirtatious ways with the nurse are a plus for me XD

Joey: The question is, Rachel, does he like you? ''Cuz if he doesn''t, then it''s all just a moo point.
Rachel: Huh...a...moo point?
Joey: Yeah. It''''s like a cow''s opinion. It doesn''t matter....It''s moo.

I have the SuperS specials on tape from VKLL. It's actually quite good. I really like Ami's first love. the animation was very cool. i've always loved side stories. Like a lot of people on here, I wish that they would have animated Minako and Rei's Battle Exam story and also Makoto's Battle Exam. Her's is hilarious how she tries to avoid studying by cooking and cleaning. Poor Mako-chan.
the ones I would have liked to see would have been Rei's story in volume 11 of the manga. Casablanca Memory. the story about the rain tree. Also story in volume 10 about Tanabata and the lovers Vega and Altair meeting once a year. that's a cute story from Chibi-Usa's picture diary. And lastly I would have liked to see the last Chibi-usa picture diary, the Hammer Price Pawn shop. it's that one where you meet Naruru.
Didn't know Naru had a little sister in the manga, did ya?
