I love my Artemis! ^_^ *huggles Artemis* He's so adorable-definately the cutest of the three. In the dub, I really like his VA. And he's so devoted to Luna.
Then it'd be Luna. She's really cute!!! I like her much more in the manga than I do the anime (I just HATE her dub voice). She's funny.
Personally, Diana's VA is much, MUCH worse than Luna's in the dub. Ugh. I don't like Diana much at all.

Heh, it could've been worse. They could've given Serena a cheesy, fake Biritish accent, too, as she too is royalty (well, at least *was*). Then we could have some REALLY stupid dialogue:Rainbow wrote:Actually, I somewhat agree, in that the English accent is stereotypical for Luna. If they were going to give her an accent, they should give her one not associated with authority figures.
Luna: Serena, stop watching that telly and get me some food from the kitchen! My favorite show is about to start on BBC! Also, you were supposed to meet up with the girls at Big Ben today!
Serena: Quit yer yappin', Luna. Who are you anyway, the Queen of England?
Luna: *ferverishly looks around, then jumps out Serena's window*
Serena: Well I'll be stoked..she really IS the Queen of England. That explains the bllody bad accent! *realizes she's caught the accent too* NNNNNNNOOOOOOO!!!!!!

I would say Artemis is my favorite of the three cats because he has a wonderfully dichotemous personality. He can be nerdy and clumsy, but puts on an air of being cool and suave and can show a good heart when he needs to.
Diana is my second favorite. Now, I haven't watched my SuperS episodes in a while but what I remember of her is that she was a cute little character who unlike another daughter-of-two-current-characters-who-comes-from-the-future-to-the-present I could name, doesn't mess with anyone's situation or cause a problem related to the enemies. So thumbs in the middle, I guess.
Which is not to say I don't like Luna, but she's basically a plot device that they built a character on top of, and not an exceptionally great one either. If she's supposed to be some kind of moral authority, she doesn'd set a shining example.
As to the voice in the dub, if they hired an older actress to voice a younger character, it's the fault of the casting director, which compared to the faults of the writers, makes this person practically a saint.

You have quite a talent for using words nobody else has ever heard of.Sailorasteroid wrote:I would say Artemis is my favorite of the three cats because he has a wonderfully dichotemous personality.
Anyway, I just finished episode 100, so I can't comment on Diana yet. Luna is definitely my preferred moon cat. She has one of the most entertaining personalities in the series, so I'm glad that she was around since the first episode and is one of the characters that's closest to Usagi. She was entertaining from the get-go, but I really started appreciating her towards the end of Classic. She struck me as being more passionate about the Moon Kingdom than Artemis, and the scene in the last episode where she was about to cry because using the Silver Crystal would kill Usagi was really touching for some reason.
Artemis is an entertaining guy, though. His japanese voice actually made me laugh the first time I heard it. >_> It just sounded funny to me. For a while I considered Artemis to be "the other cat", seeing as how he was introduced thirty-two episodes later (I didn't know of his role in Sailor V at the time), but he grew on me. He's more stoic than Luna, which is kind of interesting. His best moment so far was at the end of episode 100, where he calls Minako "pretty lady" and gives her the boquet of flowers.
I like Luna. I love all of them but Luna grew on me way faster than the rest of them did.
Artemis is funny, a bit underminded, and sweet. I wish i could see more of him and his kitty family (and of him and Minako, they seem closer than Luna and Usagi are at times).
Diana, in my opinion, serves the point of making it clear that Chibi-Usa is the next Sailor Moon. Since I haven't read the manga... I've always been curious what her capabilities are. Can she do the same things Luna can do?

luna is just awesome ^_^ too bad she doesn't play as big a role in the later seasons. im always feeling sorry for artemis, you know, loving luna who looks right through him. the episode where diana shows up is one of my favorites, but not because i like diana. i actually think she's pretty annoying. too much like chibiusa.

as most have said already, luna rocks. she has such a big part in that we get to know a lot about her and she is cute and funny but serious andtruthful artemis and diana are cute too, but we dont see as much of them. diana is cute and adds a lot of humor to the show but is not as necessary as luna or artemis.

Luna is HILLARIOUS. xD Love her. Diana's sweetness is sooooo cute! xD 'They said if I came, I could see this strange thing called 'two-timing!' 'Looks like two-timing requires a lot of stamina...'
Artemis is so hillariously dorky. xDD Love him too, especially in the episode where Diana arrives. ^_^

I like Luna and Artemis about equally; they both have such interesting and funny personalities and they're very cute together. However, I don't fancy Diana all that much. Yeah, she was cute, but in my opinion, she was one of the most useless characters in the show. Also, she took Luna-P's place, and even though Luna-P was not really a character, it was much more useful.
