Favorite Sailor Moon couple?

It's implied that it has to do with the cross between moon and earth (usagi and mamoru). If you'll notice, Neo Queen Serenity and Queen Serenity stop aging too, but they stay as adults...however, Chibiusa stops as aging as a child.

And I quote from the manga:
King Endymion: "The lifetime of the people of the Silver Millenium is around a thousand years. In most, after reaching maturity, the aging process stops. Serenity became queen at age 22, gave birth to the crown pinrcess, and after that has never changed...it all stems from the powers of the crystal. I was touched by that same people, and like the people of Silver Millenium, gained a long life span...."

My favorite couples are the ones in the manga. I like them in the anime, too, although Haruka and Michiru are a little too sexual for me.

I like really innocent couples, like Umino and Naru, and Rei and Yuuichirou, in the anime.

I'm surprised nobody brought up Makoto and Asanuma in the manga. I really think they would have made a nice couple.

Oooh, Makoto and Asanuma WOULD have made a nice couple! I forgot about them!
My favorite couples are:
Mamoru and Usagi: Just because I love them. ^_^ Granted, Mamoru's proposal wasn't the MOST romantic in the world...But they're still cute together, and the way they kissed in front of the moon at the last episode...So cute! Anyways, I like the way their love has shown through time and time again, and has always reappeared ALL their forms: Past, Present, and Future.

Naru and Umino: They way he's so dedicated to her, and that even though he's not the hottest guy out there, he'll be the most comitted to her, and the way he protects her in the first season is so adorable.

All I can think of at the moment. O.o

Thanks Tiff, it helps. I'm assuming that Naoko Takeuchi keeps things purposely vague, but I'm just wondering if that means that the people of the Silver Millenium can endow humans with immortality. Doesn't Chibusa grow up physically in the manga? (she looks older in some pictures).

You may have scene the pictures from the age-changing scenes during the SuperS part of the manga (not sure which arc it is, I think it's the Dream Arc or something). Later, she starts to look a tad older, but she never looks past about 10 or so, IMO. You have to remember that Naoko tends to draw people more mature than they acutally look, too. Hell, i've seenp ictures of Chibiusa at about age 8 with boobs -_-

Has anyone really noticed there is a rise of the Haruka and Seiya couple pairing in fanfics? Its horrible. They flood www.fanfiction.net

It is kinda creepy, but I don't see how it's any worse than any of the other fan pairings out there...

Anyways. Michiru+Haruka is a sweet-ass couple because they're lesbians. I like lesbians, if you hadn't noticed. ^^

This may be a lil' biases talking here due to the fact that I myself am a lesbian but I do like Michiru & Haruka. They are sexual but not in a very obvious, exploitive way. It's still kept subliminal in my opinion. And hey! They're both hot!!!

And I like Usagi & Mamoru in the manga, love 'em love 'em! Just reading the dialogue of Takeuchi and the drawings, definitely make me misty. Tee hee.

I really like Seiya and Usagi together. Maybe I'm only saying this because I don't like Mamoru, but I think that Seiya's personality goes much better together with Usagi's.
After that, I'm going to have to pick Haruka and Michiru. They are just a great couple. I like the fact that it's pretty obvious that they're together, but they aren't really 'open' about their relationship. They also look so cute together. ^_^
I also like Rei and Yuiichiro (damn, I can never spell that) because they are really cute together. I really like Yuiichiro.
And Luna and Artemis! So adorable! Artemis is so devoted and jealous of Kakeru and Yaten!

Bear in mind I saw Stars for the first time ever yesterday - and I was ill so I watched 28 episodes in one sitting, AHEM - I'm all SeiyaandUsagi!!! right now. He was such a sweetie to her. But kudos to her for not giving in, really. Even though it'd have been easy for her to do so, because she was lonely, she didn't. But, Seiya... bless his/her soul.

I think I just like love triangles. Heh.

And I know everybody has mentioned it, but I'm going to mention it again: Haruka and Michiru are wonderful together. I don't think I can add to what else has been said, but they just make me grin. ~grin~
