Can pairs that we WISH would've fallen in love with each other count, or do they have to be canon? (canon, as in, at least one of the characters really DID love the other in a romantic way...reciprocation or not)

couples I like:

Manga Usagi and Mamoru: they are falling for each other even before memories are recalled. Even afterward, their relationship continues to grow and they have a lot of cute moments. I mean, who can look at the last manga and not think the proposal scene in the last chapter isn't cute!

Anime Naru and Umino: you gotta root for the underdog! Umino has proven time and time again that he'll do anything for Naru. He may not do it right or be the most graceful, but at least he gives everything 100%.

Manga Chibi-usa and Elios: They are cute together. It's so sweet how they have a small relationship that's just barely begun to bloom. It hints to you that in the future it'll become something stronger.

Has anyone really noticed there is a rise of the Haruka and Seiya couple pairing in fanfics? Its horrible. They flood www.fanfiction.net

Oh, and an answer to what Rainbow asked about pairings we wished could be on here. A few people chose Usagi and Seiya (which isn't a couple on the anime but they rock anyway!) So I guess it doesn't matter.

But Usagi and Seiya ARE a couple. I don't LIKE that they're a couple, but I can't deny that Seiya did love Usagi, even if Usagi didn't love him/her back.

I think she did love Seiya. Probably alot more then she lets on, but she never acted on it becuase of her feelings and devotion toward Mamoru. Seiya, on the other hand, acted on his emtions because S/He wasn't attached to someone, like Usagi is to Mamoru.

Haruka and Michiru in either version. They're just such a perfect beautiful couple. It's like you can't have one without the other and they're dedicated. Oh yeah and they're really kinky in the anime, which is great.

In the manga Usagi and Mamoru are a great couple. You can see how they're so in love with each other and care for each other.

In the anime I like Seiya and Usagi. Their personalities match and they'd be so cute together if they had started a serious relationship.

I also like Chibi-Usa and Helios in both versions. That was cute. I wonder if Chibi-Usa ever sees him again.

Usagi loves Mamoru and only Mamoru. She does not love anyone else. She is compeltely devoted to Mamoru. They are the best couple iin my opinion. I love Mamoru and I love Usagi. So I love Mamoru and Usagi and they are my favorite couple of all time because they get together at the beginning and are a wonderful couple in all five seasons and their kisses are so wonderful. They are together in all five seasons. Mamoru is my favorite anime guy and Usagi is my favorite anime character and Usagi and Mamoru are my favorite anime couple. Usagi is devoted to Mamoru the entire time. She loves him and only him. She does not fall for anyone else, so please don't make up things, because their was not a love triangle between them, because Usagi always loved Mamoru and Mamoru always loved Usagi. Many other wonderful people loved them, but Mamoru and Usagi always stay devoted to each other. A couple are people who are dating and in love. Usagi loves Mamoru and is completely devoted to Mamoru in all five seasons. Usagi loved Mamoru the entire time and never fell for anyone else when she is with him.

As far as I know, I don't have any least favorites. Seiya x Usagi bugs me a bit, but it isn't enough to become a true least favorite. ^^;

No one made anything up and no one inisisted that their was a love triangle. If you watch Sailorstars, you would see that she harbored feelings for Seiya. Whether or not she considered Seiya to be greater then a friend was never determined, but it was obvious that she did feel something. She reacts differently with Seiya then she does with her friends and the other Lights. Which leads me to believe their may be something more there. As I stated before : I thinks he has feelings for him, but because of her love and devotion to Mamoru, she doesn't act on them. No one ever doubted the unconditional love that she and Mamoru had, but you also cannot ignore the Seiya factor. After all, doesn't she react to Seiya as she did with Mamoru in the first season?

That's right! We mustn't forget the cats! Human Luna and Human Artemis are so adorable together. Even as cats. Whenever I see their family pictures it's just so awesome. Although that figure on Diana kindof scares me. How old is that kitten suppose to be anyway?

I gotta agree with the majority here. Usagi DID have feelings for Seiya. I have all the Stars Episodes, I should know. If that Mamo-baka wasn't in the way, we would have a perfect Usagi x Seiya couple!

example 1: episode 181 "Usagi and Seiya's Heart Pounding Date"

Example 2: ever realize why she always wanted to see Seiya? Or why She was happy when Seiya became her body guard in the sleepover episode?

No offense to Mamoru fans or Usagi x Mamoru fans

I agree that Usagi felt something for Seiya in the anime. If it weren't for Mamoru... Grr. I don't like anime Mamoru. Usagi should have gone with Seiya in the anime. Just think, no Chibi Usa either. That would make me very happy. Seiya was much more caring towards Usagi too.

In the manga though, Usagi and Mamoru all the way. He doesn't insult her like he does in the anime. I don't think Usagi felt anything romantic for Seiya in the manga, and Seiya was only drawn to Usagi because she reminded her (Seiya) of Kakyuu.
