Left here alone, and unsure of what I feel. Unclear, but I see, Just what I'm afraid of.
I can't find my way anymore. And I cannot heal the wounds I've created. I can't let let go of whats killing me
Falling from this edge, I am lost to all I know
I can't breathe anymore Somehow I'm locked inside this cage And I've tried, but I cant Fight to stay alive
Falling from this edge, I am lost to all I know Time is only Fantasy And lies, the only reverie.
I've tried But I can't fight anymore.

Just like Buffy does over here.

Never. The Live-action SM will not make it to the US. Lets hope that it stays that way.

The only way I could see it comming over to america is if ADV or simular company did a SUB ONLY release, like they've done with other imports [Princess Blade]. I personally wouldn't want to see it in america any other way.

Well, The Japanese PR, or Super Sentai was made by Toei, the same ones who put out PGSM and the Anime Sailor Moon, so the Monsters where made by the guys who made the Power Rangers monsters. but don't take my word for it.

With Power Rangers, they could edit battle footage in and aside from some obvious dubbing and older print quality, you'd be forgiven for thinking that the guys in the suits were these same vapid goody-goody teens.

However, in Sailor Moon, the protagonists are unmasked. And, with a proper budget, it can be done. Especially since good DV editing software has become commercially available, which it wasn't in 1994.

All we have to do is keep it away from DiC. And maybe Disney and Fox.

They might dub it. In the 70's they dubbed monkey( a bit more grown up then sailor moon based on the journey to the west). There still showing it here in the UK on late night television. It was badly dubbed but it was the seventies. I think a UK company dubbed it but i'm not sure.

Just a note, after long discussion before the forums went down, it was confirmed this was NOT done by Saban. It was done by ToonMakers I recall, but not 100% certain about the name...not Saban.

EDIT: And just a note, I LIKED the Power Rangers that was on tv.

I'm not getting why people are so down on the idea. If it's dubbed you don't have to watch it so it's not hurting you. It would just mean there might be an affordable, quality sub out there instead of the hostageness we've had to deal with. Would it be so bad for a wider audience to appreciate it? If S and SuperS were never dubbed we may never have gotten DVDs of them. Sure there are quality issues but that's beside the point.

I still don't think it will ever happen. I don't think there's a market for it.

I don't think it will ever come here either. The market for Sailor Moon in North America has bascially died down, aside from all us hard-core fans. It's labeled as "Stupid" and "A kiddies show", and is dispised by most. The Live Action would probably fail miserably, probably because Sailor Moon's reputation is basically ruined, and I doubt that anyone would want to see a couple of japanese girls twirl around in plastic costumes fighting foam monsters. >.<; that's a pleasure saved for the true fans.

*shrug* I've said it before and I'll say it again: Having it on DVD means nothing to me. Fansubs on VHS suit me just fine.

Actually, Tiffu, while Toon Makers made it, it was pointed at Haim Saban.

Besides, "Toon Makers Moon" just doesn't have that ring that "Saban Moon" has.

Anyway, you wouldn't be able to bring it over without doing it over completely--battle and transformation scenes included.
