Sailor Moon What-ifs

What if the Inner Senshi never met Haruka and Michiru in their civilian forms before their talismans were stolen from each other? Would Usagi care so much about returning them to their rightful owners had they not? What if Haruka and Michiru never met each other before their talismans were stolen? Would they act on their own as Senshi? Would Haruka have been more sympathetic towards the heart crystal owners? Would they still have fallen in love with each other? Would Michiru and Haruka try to steal each others talismans? Or would Haruka never had become a Senshi at all?

What if the Senshi appearances were switched so that in the first season, the 4 girls who joined Sailor Moon in the fight against the Dark Kingdom were the Outers, and the Inners were the ones in S who were told to find the talismen? And kept their personalities exactly the same?

What if the Sailor Starlights appeared earlier in the show? What if they were the stars instead of Sailor Moon and the show was about alien girls who came to save Earth and posed as rock stars?

I get what you are all saying and I think i've figured out some of the English names to the names you have used but can you put the English names in brackets im not good with other names than the English ones, help. but what if Darien and Sarina never got together what if Raye and Darien got together what do you think would happen? that would be really strange!

What if the Dark Moon Kingdom created the Dark Sailor Senshi? Meaning they would exactly like the good senshi (except dark hair, dark fuku, ect.), and they knew when they were going to attack, so they would always counter attack.

Here's a strange What-If: What is Usagi and Luna were suddenly body-swapped so Usagi was a cat and Luna was a human?

EDIT about 2 days later: Gah, this is all way too confusing. There is no such thing as the Dark Moon, there is Dark Kingdom, Makaiju, Black Moon, Death Busters, Dead Moon, and Shadow Galactica...Oh well ^^; What I was originally trying to be funny with was combining this "Dark Moon" and "Kingdom" elements, and it originally said this: "Would that be Wiseman trying to find the Ginzuishou to give to Metallia?"

Nehelania didn't want to give the Golden Mirror to Metallia because she didn't know Metallia exsisted. you're thinking of Beryl.

You made a typo, and that's what I was going on. The "Dark Moon Kingdom" doesn't exist ^^ (Plus, you posted right in the middle of my post edit, I accidentally put Neherenia instead of Wiseman) Anyway, back on topic...

Anyway, about the Dark Senshi, I believe that bit happens in the Stars part of the manga (which I haven't gotten to yet), but yeah, if they were created, they would probably be at a stalemate and neither side would be able to win.

Until Chibi Moon comes along. With her sugary cuteness that could make the candy man gag, the Dark Senshi would get a good look at her, yell "AUUUGGGH, TOO CUTE!!", melt, and the good senshi win.

What if Usagi's friends and family were a little less dense and noticed that Usagi bears an uncanny resemblence to Sailor Moon? I mean, really, how distinctive is that hairstyle?!

What if in the SailorStars anime, the the Starlights did not change genders but just stayed male or female? Which one do you think the animators would have picked? Having them be girls would be closer to the manga, but I honestly think it would have been simpler if the Starlights were just guys all the time. If they were women the whole time, the Seiya and Usagi romance plot probably wouldn't have worked that well. Most of the sexual tension would be gone, just because we know that Usagi doesn't swing that way. All the other Inner Senshi wouldn't be ogling the Starlights if they were women either. The whole Sailor Senshi war thing could be resolved by saying that the Starlights are knights of Princess Kakyuu, who happens to be a Sailor Senshi as well.

I actually would've preferred it if they were females like in the manga. As for the sexual tension and ogling:
-Usagi dealing with a lesbian falling in love with her, especially one who physically resembles Mamoru so much, could make for great sexual tension and possibly some consideration of either her own sexuality or else possibly some latent homophobia (like when she told the girl in episode 178 that "Isn't it better to be in love with a boy?" or something to that effect.)
-The ogling thing still might work if they're girls, especially if it's just nonsexual idol worship; maybe then Minako, instead of wanting to date the Three Lights, maybe she could want to be like them since they're girl idols her own age.
-Haruka's hatred of Seiya could be even MORE intense then, since a female Seiya would be a more dangerous rival for Michiru than a male one. (the incident in episode 180 in the dressing room)

Then again, I am quite biased in this regard, since I'm someone who loves it when I find fanfiction or pictures of the Starlights when they're just girls, and whenever I write any fanfiction that is placed in the post-SailorStars period, I have them be girls all the time.

What if Taiki was all-girl, Seiya changed gender at random times for no reason, and Yaten was all-boy?

I was thinking about how Taiki and Usagi are almost complete opposites and thought of this:

What if Taiki and Usagi switched bodies? And it happened right after Seiya got hurt by Tin Nyanko, like during the time between episodes 189 and 190? How would Seiya react to Taiki having Usagi's soul and Taiki's soul being in Usagi's body?

what if the dark kingdom won? What would this mean when the doom tree arrived? obviously the black moon wouldnt be an issue since crystal tokyo wouldnt exist, but how about the death busters, and the dead moon. Also would Galaxia have ignored Earth or does Beryl possess a dark star seed or something?

I actually had planned on running a sailormoon RPG once set in a universe where the dark kingdom had indeed won and the doom tree had been destroyed when it arrived. The game was going to take place just as the Death Busters had appeared and started attacking pure hearts. essentially a rag tag resistance movement had to not only try to over throw the dark kingdom but also deal with the death busters who were at war with the dark kingdom. a war that threatned to rip the earth apart.
